Kate Adams Photography

We thought Kate was lovely when we first met her and booked her for our wedding because we felt we could trust her. I contacted Kate 2 weeks before the wedding to confirm everything- all was fine as far as she let on. Then on the Thursday evening, less than 2 days before the wedding we had a phone call from Kate's friend to say she couldn't do the wedding because her husband was unwell. We fully appreciate that these things can happen and that she couldn't do the wedding but we would have appreciated more notice than 24 hours!!!! We were left to search for a new photographer who could meet our requirements the day before the wedding which caused a huge amount of stress!! We were so fortunate with who we found. We were disappointed that Kate did not transfer our money straight back to us- we had to wait 4 weeks before she sent the money back. I thought this was bad form when she knew we would have to pay a replacement photographer. We were also disappointed with the lack of communication from Kate in general after she let us down- she still hasn't contacted us to check if everything went well on our special day!!
