What is your most memorable wedding?
Any wedding has wonderful memories. Is it the couple? Is it one of the images? Is it something funny that happened? I change my mind every time I ask myself the question.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Eevry client I shoot with loves my work and they enjoy my company. Several have become friends and I'm asked back to shoot family pictures years later. I shoot only a handful of weddings and parties each year so that each will be fresh and individual. I treat every couple, every family, every party planner as if they were the only client in the world. Every image is carefully handcrafted after your day. There is no mass production here - only TLC at every stage. And at the end of a long, day of hard work - you'll wonder how I'm still so smiley and friendly. It's because I love what I do.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
So many thoughts... Don't panic, it will all be fine on the day. (It doesn't all have to be perfect, it just has to be the two of you together).
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Pop over and we can chat. Thee's nothing like a shared pot of tea and chocolate HobNobs and a good chat. We'll talk about your plans, your hopes, and of course we'll have a look through some complete albums. Don't worry about committing to digital or album deliver just yet - you can decide later. We'll talk a couple of times at least before the wedding. If it is local enough then I'll hope to visit the venue if it is new to me. If it helps, I can chat with the church or ceremony venue to settle nerves and allay concerns. I'm on the phone if you have any questions. I offer a personal service and that's true from start to finish. On the day I'll be early and ready. I'm relaxed about things and little phases me, so you get on with enjoying yourselves and don't worry about the photography.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Nothing forced, something that says "you."
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and perhaps a "B" plan at the venue. And a sense of humour - nothing goes 100% to plan.
Describe how you got into photography.
I've been shooting broadcast TV for 20+ years. My clients started asking me if I could shoot stills for them and so it started slowly. Much of my work is in the demanding world of commercial photography, shooting for blue-chip clients, but over the last 10 years I've carved out a reputation amongst sveral of the UK's top party planners as being one of the best. Weddings, parties, commercial, advertising... it's all great fun.
