Hi I'm Lucy, I'm a creative documentary photographer. I'm passionate about capturing naturally beautiful images telling your unique story, that you will love for a lifetime. My style is natural, artistic, romantic and relaxed. Most of the day you'll hardly notice me as I capture your big day and all the little moments naturally, as it unfolds. Past couples often say I have a calm, friendly and professional nature and make them feel very at ease in front of the camera. If you're camera shy I have magical ways to get you relaxed and laughing for lovely natural couple photos that you'll want to hang on your wall! I always strive to create a beautiful set of storytelling photos from getting ready to the dance floor! I absolutely love weddings and being part of your amazing day is always such an honour. I'm always on the look out for beautiful light, so I may ask to whisk you off for a few minutes just before sunset to create some beautiful photos! I like to get to know my couples before the wedding with a complimentary mini engagement session for all full day bookings. We'll discuss and plan everything before your big day so you can totally relax knowing your photography is in good hands. I am based in Buckinghamshire but photograph weddings all over the UK and beyond for friendly, happy couples in love!

Natural Photos - Exactly what we wanted, Thank you
Lucy was our photographer for our wedding in August 2019 and also photographed our engagement shoot in March 2019 and we would highly recommend her! One of the ways we chose our suppliers was by the relationship we built with them and how efficient they were - Lucy was always prompt at replying to emails and when we first met her it felt like we were chatting with a friend. During our engagement shoot, we had every possible type of weather you could imagine - rain, sleet, wind and sun. Lucy was so professional and it didn’t even phase her. The photos were amazing and we knew that we had definitely made the right choice for the big day. Throughout the wedding day, Lucy made everyone feel so comfortable and the majority of the time it didn’t even feel like she was there. Lucy was so lovely, polite and friendly
Lucy photographed my wedding and I would highly recommended her to anyone looking. She was so lovely, polite and friendly, and made me feel very at ease throughout the day whilst being professional at all times. She was very unobtrusive which I loved, and captured some really beautiful shots, both natural and formal throughout the day; from me getting ready, to walking down the aisle, to cutting the cake and our first dance - each moment was captured in such an artistic and lovely way. Friendly, Kind & Lovely Natural Photos- Book Lucy!
I knew picking the right photographer was very important to capture the day. I do not like having my photo taken and I feel very awkward but Lucy made me feel very relaxed and at ease with her kind, non-invasive and lovely manner. We are both so pleased with the photos we received. The photos are beautiful, natural and emotional. Lucy captured some intimate moments during the day between me and lance and our guests that I particularly will treasure. Our guests commented on how wonderful Lucy was, she did not stop taking photos all day..... in fact I remember telling Lucy that she should go home (I bet she would have stayed all night!) Lucy photographed our wedding at Shepperton Film Studios and we are so happy with the photos and so pleased she was our photographer. From our first discussion with her over the phone, to the engagement shoot, to the wedding itself, it has been great. She is so friendly and professional and made us feel at ease. It was great to do the engagement shoot with her so that we had met her before the big day and she knew what we did and didn't like and on the day she was so good with ensuring we had all the shots we wanted and trying different things. I love when there are handmade elements made by the couple, family or friends. I've seen some lovely family made cakes!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After your enquiry, we can chat via email / phone, or meet for coffee to ask any questions you have. When you're happy to book I will take a deposit and book your date in my diary. There is a form to fill in and that is it! We'll be in contact during the planning process, arrange a time to meet before your wedding to plan all the timings and details. I'm always available on the phone or email for any questions that pop up or to help with your planning.

What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Confetti - it's always a photo filled with joy and smiling faces!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas & wellies! We can still get out in the rain for some great photos.

Describe how you got into photography.

I started with photography in school, a LONG time ago! when I took A-level photography. I worked for a short time as a photographer on cruise ships, then after several years as a hobby I started my business in 2016 and haven't looked back.
