Almost all our customers end up becoming great personal friends for life, a reward which is unparalleled and any of them are happy to recommend us.
Research and plan well in advance, delegate responsibilities to willing friends and family members. It's your special day so keep the focus on enjoying it! I suggest that the couples enquire with and meet at least 3 different photographers before selecting one. I have also created a blog with tips re how to select a wedding photographer and is worth a read. The link is https://www.magiceyedesign.com/blog
We prefer to arrange a meeting with our prospective customers ideally at our studio in Belfast, so we can show you some of our work, discuss your plans in detail and complete the necessary paper work. I do not believe in pressure selling at all and will share honestly the cost of each package and can also custom design one for you. I will also ask you to take your time, to go back home, think and then decide whether you want to hire me as the photographer.
Choices vary from couple to couple on this. When we meet up with you, we will show you a lot of reference images and we can plan these. We have a ever expanding collection of props we carry them on the day to add that wow factor to the imagery.
This is something where a professional business like ours excels in comparison to many freelancers. We carry a set of full size towels, a collection of decorative umbrellas, and because we own one of the biggest professional photography studios in NI, we can quickly arrange and set up professional lights and backdrops in the hotel if required, or even invite the couple to our studio for a quick photo session to make up for the weather disruption in plans.
I liked amateur photography from an early age, however when I worked in the advertising agency industry at a senior level for 10 years, I was regularly hiring and dealing with some of the worlds top photographers. This interaction enabled me to understand more about the profession and I gradually planned the shift and started full time as a photographer in 2010.
