My most memorable wedding was a large festival type wedding near St Davids. It went on for 3 days, the guests partied hard! and there was wind...lots of wind. I won't ever forget that weekend. Such good fun!

I am proudest when I get messages from past brides and grooms telling me how happy and emotional their wedding galleries make them feel. This is always a proud moment that never ever gets old!
Meet with suppliers! Employing complete strangers to be there on your big day is actually quite a strange thing..don't you think! It's important to have a team of people working with you that share your vision. You can always decide to go elsewhere if you meet and things don't feel right.
One bride spent the months before her wedding making 1000 origami crane birds. Apparently this is good luck and shows your dedication to your marriage. Safe to say, they look amazing in the reception venue! I was very impressed
I like to meet couples at the booking stage. It's really important that we share a vision and our personalities gel. After all, I am going to be with you for a large proportion of your wedding day! We then meet 3 months before to get the finer details in place such as special shots, schedule for the day, key bridal party members etc. I like to visit the venue and attend wedding rehearsals if these are planned (especially if I have not photographed in that location before). I also encourage couples to spam me with any inspiration they find on Instagram or Pinterest. This helps me understand which styles/poses you prefer. I'm very flexible and love working with couples to create surprises and special moments. I love to be 'in on a plan'!. To secure a booking date with me, I require a 30% deposit (fully refundable up to 6 weeks before the wedding day) and a signed contract.
The confetti shot! I absolutely love the moment that couples leave their ceremony as Man and Wife. It's a beautiful moment!
An up-skirt kilt photo!
Umbrellas! Of course! I absolutely love rainy photos and advise couples not to be phased by a bit of wet weather.
Photography has always been a passion of mine; growing up in such a large family, there were always weddings, get-togethers and parties. I love capturing moments, scrap-booking and making videos. Watching and looking at these years later is the most beautiful thing. Turning that passion into a business was a very natural and automatic thing to happen. I'm so pleased I get to call this my job.
