I am a documentary photographer, based in Sheffield. I have been fortunate enough to shoot weddings across the UK and beyond and I’m more than willing to travel. I aim to capture weddings creatively whilst documenting your day in a relaxed but professional way. In my experience, it is essential to book a photographer that you feel a connection with. Making sure that my style and work reflects what you would like your photographs to portray is paramount to ensuring that we are right for one another. My photographs tell stories. In this case, love stories. I feel privileged to be able to meet and get to know such awesome couples and then to share one of the biggest days of their lives! It really is a wonderful feeling, to capture on camera such momentous moments and to make sure that you have them to keep forever. I simply love my job and this passion shines through in each and every one of the images I take.

What is your most memorable wedding?

A surprise wedding at the Pheasantry Brewery. The planning and organisation that went into it was all done in 6 weeks, however every wedding is special in its own way. Each one is unique.

The reaction I get from couples when I deliver their photographs.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once a couple have reached out and got in touch with me, we begin the process of talking about the plans they have for their wedding day. An initial consultation is arranged so we can have a chat over a coffee to get to know each other a little better. Each couple that I have worked with in the past have become good friends, this for me is key when looking for your photographer.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Get outside. The rain can make for some awesome photographs. I will be on hand with an umbrella!!

Describe how you got into photography.

I got into photography at art college when I was 16. This carried on through University. No matter where I went I always had my camera with me. I finally decided to get into wedding photography in 2013 where I started as a second shooter. I was very lucky to cover some amazing weddings, but I knew I was capable of much more. I decided to go it alone in 2015, to follow my dream and I've never looked back.
