I have photographed so many brilliant weddings, I couldn't pick out just one.
Creative, fun, emotive, professional, relaxed
Of course my photos but also my customer relations
Get everything booked asap, especially your photographer :) There is nothing worse than stressing out close to your day getting services booked in.
Table Numbers with a photo of the bride and groom at that same age, the Table One sign had a photo of them at one year old, table two at two years old etc, very cool.
I meet my couples and prospective clients for a coffee and a chat prior to the wedding. This sometimes includes the pre wedding shoot. I keep in touch at regular intervals between booking and the wedding date and send a questionaire a month prior asking all the final timings and details like parents, bestman, bridesmaids names and any other important details to do with the day. I also send a shot list so I have the required group photos prior to the day, this especially helps to make that part of the day go as smooth and as quickly as possible. After the wedding the photos, once individually edited, will be uploaded into an online gallery and your USB will be delivered to you. If you have and album in your option this is when you will choose your photos using your online gallery. Your album will be designed and you will have an online magazine style proof to approve or request album changes.
I know its a bit boring but I really think every wedding couple should have a traditional full length portrait. I do this for all my clients as well as lots of other cool stuff but the full length one is the one Mum and Granny will want for their mantelpiece.
All the groomsmen with their trousers down pretending to help each other pee!!!!
Smile, its your wedding day! Oh, and take a brolly
I was a private Butler for many years and always had an interest and bought a good SLR, I travelled all over the world with my work and wanted to take great photos. In 2005 I attended a friends wedding and took my own camera. After I sent my photos to the couple and they preferred mine to the guy they had paid! It took a couple of years working full time and being a weekend photo warrior but I went full time in 2013.
