My wedding to Paula who is my second wife.
Thorough Passionate Dedicated Creative Professional
Two things: 1. Being brave enough to pursue my dream, 2. Documenting beautiful memories for my clients through my photography.
Enjoy everything about the build up to the day. Don't let all the planning and organising stuff get in the way of that!
Initial conversation to get to know each other and start to understand the couple's requirements from their photography. It's also an opportunity for them to ask all the questions that they want. Once hired I issue an Agreement document and invoice. I ask for a 50% deposit on invoice with the final balance payable in the week following the wedding. I tell clients that they are free to contact me at any time during the build up to the wedding. I offer the option of a pre-wedding shoot. I always contact my client during the week leading up to the wedding in order to confirm attendance and any final details. I always arrive early on the day. I do not work to a time frame and do not watch the clock. I will work for as long is needed to capture all the images that the clients have asked me to.
Don't limit yourself. Often the best photographs are spontaneous and "in the moment".
They are all original. Every wedding, bride and groom are unique!
A white umbrella (I always have one with me....it's really practical and makes a lovely prop)
I've carried a camera for as long as I can remember. Originally my photography was all about cataloging my travels and adventures in the mountains. I still indulge myself with Landscape photography but this is for my own personal enjoyment. I was inspired to become a photographer of people and weddings by the photographer at my second wedding. I have become consumed by photography and bring that passion to your wedding and every wedding that I cover!
