What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your wedding photographs will last a lifetime - choose your photographer with care and bear in mind that current image styles go out of fashion very quickly. Go for classic image styles that will stand the test of time.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Most of my couples have booked me because of my documentary approach so they don't normally specify particular photos. I always make sure I photograph important moments of a wedding in creative and original ways.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas. But seriously - make the most of your day - it's special and so are you - ignore the weather and enjoy it ! If you've picked a good professional documentary wedding photographer you'll get great photographs whatever the weather.
Describe how you got into photography.
I can't draw for a toffee but think in pictures so it was a natural way for me to express myself.
