Oliver + Ruth Photographers

We are Oliver and Ruth; two photographers who specialise in capturing the story of your wedding day in a discreet, fly-on-the-wall documentary style. Based in Cardiff, South Wales, we accept commissions for wedding photography throughout the UK. We love to focus on the emotion and atmosphere of the wedding and for the best part of the day you’ll hardly even notice we are there. Having said that, we think it’s important to fit in a small handful of family groups (around 15 mins should be plenty) plus some time for a selection of portraits of you both as a newly married couple; we’ll normally use the grounds of your venue for this and again 15-20 minutes should be ample. For the rest of the day, we hope you’ll enjoy spending it celebrating with friends and family, and we’ll be there to capture it for you. Your images should be timeless. No awkward poses or dated Photoshop filters. Just beautiful, storytelling wedding photography that will never go out of style.
