What about your business are you most proud of?
My referrals, I have so many bridesmaids and groomsmen that then chose me to capture their own wedding. Its such a lovely feeling. Plenty of them go on to become friends.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get the venue picked and then relax. Everything will slowly fall into place after that. And do whats right for you....not everyone else!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Before any booking is taken, I always meet up with a couple. I'm going to be there with you throughout your big day, we need to get on, and you need to let me boss you around a little bit. Once thats established and the booking is confirmed, we then meet at the venue 1-2 months before the big day and have a walk around. This lets me see how you will use the venue we can also discuss photo locations. Its also a great time for any last minute questions. Then its the big day! I will be there all day from prep to the party after the first dance. Its then around 8 weeks for the final images that will be present to the couple at there home for a slideshow and handover on a wooden USB.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A pyramid. I don't think that has been topped. I had the bride on top of 5 groomsmen including the groom!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A brolly and wellies! Make the most of it, some amazing photos can be capture and to not worry about it.
Describe how you got into photography.
My grandfather was a photographer and my dad also loved photography. I got my first camera when I was 7 a little 35m film camera for my family vacation. And since then I've been hooked. It followed me to University where I study and graduated with a photography degree.
