Railway wedding in North Yorkshire
Unobtrusive, friendly, flexible, patient,caring
Seeing the emotions from the couple when they receive their days images, knowing that my images will form a part of their ongoing family history...sounds corny but its true......
Do delegate and don't micro manage.
Brides childhood teddy bear rescued from the parents loft, restored and presented to her by her father during the speeches.....made a great photograph.
Initially an informal meeting with no pressure to book (I'm not a good salesman, what you see is what you get and I'm not pushy) Once booked we could have a pre-wedding shoot to relax the couple. Basically I want the couple to be relaxed with me. I do a site visit of the venue, chat to their wedding events manager. A final meeting to go through the days schedule, any requests, go through any group photo's the couple want.
A large group of all the guests so that in years to come they will have at least one image including those most nearest and dearest to them.
A couple with a giraffe behind them, a real giraffe that is...(the wedding was at a zoo)
Go with it......
First camera at the age of 10, and with a father named David Bailey it was a foregone conclusion! I loved the subject, have always been creative but knew that photography could provide that creativity and enable me to meet people and travel.
