As a full time, freelance photographer and having photographed in excess of 300 weddings, I can offer a confident, professional service, experience, creativity and high quality images which will 'wow' forever... I do not over price my service and so, strongly believe I do offer fantastic value. When you book your wedding photography with me, I am with you from the morning preparations through to and including the evening dancing and party. I believe wedding photography covers many photographic disciplines, details, portrait, fashion & Beauty, formal, creative, candid and event. I have gained experience in all such areas through freelancing, working with many high profile clients and in applying this to my wedding photography, allows me to provide a range of high quality images throughout the day and evening in a truly unique style. Weddings are all about people and I am able to communicate, am not timid and able to work with large or small groups in a warm and friendly manor.

What is your most memorable wedding?

There are weddings in all shapes and sizes, styles and locations and I have seen many. The most memorable things however are generally people, characters and those who shine.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

In terms of a photographer. It's obviously important to like the photographer's style but equally important to like the photographer too, after all, this person will be close to you all day, more than anybody else...!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Every wedding has many personal touches, so hard to pick one but as a father myself, I always have a soft spot for dad and daughter moments...

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Contact (email/call.) To meet. Booking. 2 months to go, meet to discuss details and pre wedding photos (just simple shots to gauge the couple and how they are in front of the camera) Offer advise and tips for the wedding images. Phone call day before wedding. Arrive for the big day...!

What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The most important photo to have is of the couple! If the photographer did nothing else, He or she MUST GET the Bride & Groom...

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I did a Halloween wedding a few years ago so just about all the photos were rather original and involved lots of fake blood and zombies!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Smile, stay happy, wellies, brollies and prepare to get wet and muddy. Make the most of it and have some fun in puddles...

Describe how you got into photography.

Started when I was about 6 years old, my first photo (kodak film) was of my teddy bears in the the garden. Been at it ever since so 40 years + !!!
