An outdoor wedding when it poured down with rain! Wonderful people, great images with a great sky!
fun, natural, unobtrusive, classic, relaxed
Becoming a "qualified" member of the Photo guild. A very rigorous test of skill and service.
Allow time for yourselves during the day. It's all about you, take time to step back and enjoy the day and moments that happen. And don't sweat the small stuff!
A wishing tree where guests write lovely messages to the bride and groom and hang it on a tree.
Meet for a chat to understand your day. Send out T&C's and confirmation letters. Book a date for the engagement shoot (great to get to know each other and what you like and don't like!) Chat about group shots (give help and advice if needed) Shot through prep till first dance..........
I don't think there is one! Every single couple is completely unique, as is every wedding. I wouldn't dream of doing the same shot at every wedding. You want your wedding photos to be personal to you not the same as your friends last week!
A couple that were running a marathon the following day, running down the road in trainers and full wedding attire.
I carry lots of brollys - rain makes for great pictures!! It brings the colours out of flowers and trees. At night time you can play with lights in the rain. It makes puddles for reflection shots - (I love the rain can you tell?!)
My parents were both photographers so very natural for me to go the same way. We had a dark room at home and as a child to watch pictures appearing as if by magic when they were getting developed will stay with me forever.
