What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The daughter of the bride had a surprise reading which made EVERYONE cry, including myself!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Quick natter on the phone or facetime, mostly about kids and our interests before wedding talk! I reserve dates by taking a small deposit and the rest of the balance is due 7 days before the wedding day. I love being booked for engagement shoots also. It's a fantastic way to get to know each other.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I love the standing side by side Wes Anderson look if the couple are cool enough ;) But I also love finding out how the couple act naturally and then just working with that.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella.... And an open mind....maybe some wellies to get splashing around in some puddles! Best to embrace and enjoy rain
Describe how you got into photography.
Taking photos of my kids. I quickly found out posing children doesn't work, so I learnt how to capture their natural personalities. Exactly the same approach I use as a Wedding Photographer.
