What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
When choosing a wedding photographer - look at their work. If you love it, meet with them to see if you get along. Try not to let price dictate how much you value memories on your perfect day. Do what you want to do not what other people expect!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Mother of the Bride making an absolutely stunning three tier naked Victoria sponge cake for her daughters wedding. It just blew us all away!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Not your stuffy Wedding consultation. No hard sell - we just meet up, grab coffee & talk weddings!
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Big group picture! If you choose not to have too many family groups at least have a great shot with everyone together.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One of my couples spotted a guy dressed as a storm trooper from 'Star Wars' - So we all ran across the street in the rain and asked if he'd like to do some pictures. Very cool!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Here in the UK, the weather is unpredictable. Smile, grab a brolly and have fun - great images are everywhere!
Describe how you got into photography.
A very successful Wedding Photographer in Bath, Somerset - loved my work, offered to train me from scratch and then shoot freelance for his studio in Bath, Somerset - An opportunity like that just doesn't happen nowadays - so I grabbed it with both hands. . .
