I would describe my style as journalistic. I love photographing people's emotions, catching the moments. A great picture is a combination of light, composition and "the right moment" which has to be predicted sometimes and being in the right place at the right time. It’s all about thinking quick and adapt to different light and situations. This is why I like weddings. they are all so different. And I love people.

Absolutely fantastic photographer and photos!
Francesca was our photographer for our wedding on 2nd September and we absolutely loved working with her. Before the wedding, we really felt that she took the time to get to know us, and what we liked and wanted, as well as sharing her own ideas, and she made the whole experience feel very personal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she came to meet and speak to us a couple of times before the big day as well as separately making arrangements to visit our venue which was really reassuring. On the day, she was perfect. Every bit of the day was covered, but she was completely unobtrusive - looking back on our photos, there are plenty where I didn’t even realise she was there, and yet she captured the moments beautifully! She was really friendly and great with our guests when arranging the few posed group photos that we’d suggested. A few weeks later, and we’ve now had our photos and are struggling to select only a few for an album. They’re all really good! Lots of very natural laughs, hugs, tears and no awkward posing. Since sharing with our guests, we’ve had lots of compliments on our good choice of photographer. We really couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

we have been able to relive our amazing day
Initially, we did not think we wanted a professional photographer, we have friends who are great photographers & we thought we could involve them in our special day.. until we saw Francesca's photos at a wedding fair. We loved the candid yet very intimate photographs displayed ...exactly what we would want. Francesca also reminded us the 'special moments' we would want our friends to witness may be missed if our friends did the photography and her 'prep work' prompted us to consider things we had not thought of. It became obvious very quickly we wanted Francesca as part of our special day, to capture key moments but those moments that could very easily be missed.. From the first click of her camera, Francesca captured our whole day! Her trained eye knew exactly what to pick up: a few family and group photos, then Francesca blended in with the crowd and we really forgot she was there until she came to say goodbye.. We received the photos in a prompt timeframe and could not wait to open the digital file....words cannot describe the photos...we have been able to relive our amazing day, even the parts that were invisible to us. What has been mind-blowing is how obvious the emotion of the day has been captured in these snaps... We are so delighted that we chose to have Francesca involved and had no hesitation in trusting her with our day... Definitely one of the best choices. We would definitely recommend Francesca! What is your most memorable wedding?

John and Veronica. It was my third wedding and I was so nervous. I really wanted to do a great job. I have connected perfectly with the couple and the guest and I captured the emotions of the day which was my goal. Capture the real day. People laughing, crying, cuddling, dancing...and I have managed to do it. They were pleased and so was I.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

being relaxed and natural and forget about me! It's your day! I am just there to record it and save it forever :-) So be you!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

capture movement, all the time. I like dynamic photography

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After I received your query, I answer all your questions confirming my packages. I then propose to meet up or set up a telephone call to understand your requirements and introduce ourselves as I'm gonna be with you all day (on you wedding day!!!) So it's important that we meet and most of all you trust me as your photographer. If you are happy, then I'll send you the contract with the T&C and the invoice for the deposit to secure your date (typically £200). The balance is due a week before your wedding. 3 to 4 weeks after the wedding the images will be presented to you in a private gallery that you could share with family and friends. The pictures can be downloaded and will be ready to be printed. Also you will receive a slideshow video with the best moments

the couple portrait, I want just you to be you. And try....just try to forget i'm there :-)

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Bring two umbrellas! A white one for the bride and black one for groom, go avoid nasty colour casts!

Describe how you got into photography.

I have first started as a Street Photographer, which can turn everyday moments into pieces of art. After becoming a mum, I've decided to turn a passion into a business. I initially tested different styles to understand what I liked and what I was good at. I realised that what I really enjoyed was the documentary photography, the non staged moment, catching people expressions, looking for that soul in their eyes. I like photographing real moments and emotions that are so familiar and represent the essence of a person, a couple or a group.
