I remember every one, some very very grand and others not so. I particularly remember a teenage bride and groom who had bought the dress and suit in a local charity shop. They had next to nothing. After the register office ceremony I arranged for us to walk them through the local street market and they had small gifts given to them by some of the stall holders. A lovely feeling of generosity.

At the age of eight I realised I could hide behind the camera, although very far from shy now it was a great way to be everywhere and not seen back then. It's that experience that makes me so sympathetic to anyone not liking their picture taken.
