I've shot over 400 weddings so to pick a fave would be impossible. But I love a wedding where the couple will add there own personal stamp on the day and then just simply let their hair down and enjoy every moment...
I want my couple to simply enjoy the day while I sit back and capture the timeless moments as they unfold. I tend to take my couple for two short shoots, one after the ceremony and one in the evening before the first dance. They only need to be around 15-20 minutes, that's all I need to create stunning bride and groom portraits I have become renown for. Then you get to spend more time enjoying the day with your friends and family.
My best tip for my couples is to simply enjoy the day, suck in every last moment.
Some things money can't buy, and a simple note or letter to your husband or wife to be is a guaranteed winner trust me! And also works well if your having a wedding film too.
I have a home office in Southend on sea for consultations and pre-wedding meetings. It's great if we can meet up before the wedding but we can of course run through your wedding plans and how it all works on day over the phone or Skype when distance or time an issue. One the deposit has been received the date is yours! The balance isn't due to a few weeks below the wedding when we'll catch up and go through all the finer details.
If the weather is not on your side on your wedding day this is when you'll find out if your wedding photographer is a true professional. The venue will always play a part and help us get creative, but a real professional wedding photographer like myself will always deliver the goods...
