When the couple had Polaroid cameras for guests to pass around at the reception. The guests then stuck the polarioids into the guest book with a message to create a photo book of the evening.
Couples come for a first meeting where I explain my process and find about more about them and their plans. They sign an agreement and pay a deposit and we arrange a preshoot so they get a feel for being my subjects. We set times and a list of must have shots for their wedding before the big day. After the wedding we have another meeting to flick through the photos and hand over their own memory box to take home.
Some kind of group shot with everyone in. It doesn't have to have confetti in but it always makes for a great photo.
A couple once had a barge to take them from the wedding venue to the reception and I got to take photos on the barge which made for some special images.
Umbrellas and positive attitude. Rain presents a challenge but doesn't make a photo shoot impossible!
