What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Wedding favours are a great way to put your stamp on your day, they can say a lot about you as a couple
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We will have a chat over the phone or via Skype for our initial consultation, here you can tell me all about your special day and I can tell you about my services. If you decide to go ahead then we will secure the date via my online booking system and then we are good to go. You will receive a number of emails from me between the time of booking and the wedding with information and tips and then I will be in touch about six weeks before the big day. I will send you a questionnaire where I ask for lots of useful info about your day, this will enable me to plan the timeline. We will then have a chat in the week running up to the big day. I am on hand any time during the whole process if you need to ask any questions or just want a chat. On the day itself just relax and trust that I have it all in hand and I will capture your day beautifully!
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A beautiful portrait of the two of you to hang on your wall. This is my speciality!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Generally, my couples trust me to capture their day in my natural style. My couples don't book me for quirky photos, they book me because they want their day captured in a natural, elegant and candid way
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Please don't worry about rain, we will work around it. If we get the chance we will nip outside for some photos, if we can't then we will make the most of indoors. Most wedding venues are geared up for beautiful indoor photos
Describe how you got into photography.
I have always loved photography and for many years it was just a hobby. The turning point was when I had my daughter and I wanted to capture beautiful images of her growing up. I started with family portraits and quickly moved to weddings, I have always loved weddings. I now consider that I have the best job in the world
