My most memorable wedding would have to be a wedding i attended at Gosfield Hall in Essex. It was one of those days where the weather was unusually hot - Everything from that day was just perfect. The best part was the bride and grooms 1st dance - It was choregraphed to perfection and really set the tone for a fantastic evening.
Natural, fun, creative, documetary & love
I am most proud of the many moments I have created for the wonderful couiples that have trusted me to document their most precious day!
Take time for yourselves. Even if it is only 10 minutes to take a stroll together and let the reality of the day sink in. After all the day is over in a flash. Make sure that you gel with any photographer that you want. If the chemistry isn't there, then move on till you find the one - That is imperative!
Initial contact is followed by a face to face meeting - this is so important. Normally over a coffee at mutual costa coffee shop. Contracts and deposits are done online afterwards and a follow up meeting nearer the time if required to go over finer details of your wedding day.
The no.1 photo is ideally a wonderful & romantic image of themselves of course :)
A photo of a couple having leaves and twigs thrown over them - haha! Not sure why, but I took it anyway :)
The weather is what it is and good old UK weather always leaves us guessing - An umbrella is normally the goto recommendation - Can creater some lovely rain shots too :)
My photography journey started when I was 12 - My father was an avid motorsport photographer and he used to take me along to F1 in the 80's and he gave me my first Minolta film camera (which at the time was one of the best you could get). I found photographing people much more fun and creative though.
