Trust your professionals, listed to their advice. Ask a photographer to see a few complete weddings not just highlights.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A single triangle of material was sent out to all guests, they customised it with a personal message and this was made into a string of flags to be hung up around the room.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The more interaction the better. I encourage collaboration.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first look during the ceremony is always a special one
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Its normally me doing the asking. I will wade out into rivers, climb trees, hand out of a car sunroof and start myself into the open hatchback of a moving car to get the shot. If I haven't done something at least slightly dangerous I'm not happy!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Go with it. Wellies and umbrellas, use reflections and although the dress needs to be respected if you are scared of getting it slightly dirty the you won't get the shots. If you are scared of getting the dress slightly dirty- please ask someone else to photograph your wedding!
Describe how you got into photography.
I picked up a camera aged 10 and knew that this is what i wanted to do. I/m an artist that and draw or paint to play an instrument, this is what I do to express myself.
