Don't get me wrong, every wedding has it's own unique twist on things and that's fab. I enjoy each and every one. It was a wet wedding day but that didn't dampen the bride and groom's spirit. It turned out to be one of the best weddings I've documented. Everybody was so happy from the guests to the couple themselves. We raced on golf buggies, I sat in the pouring rain whilst capturing a moment between the bride and groom on a bridge. They laughed and smiled throughout the entire experience. The best man made a cracking speech and even had a sing-a-long at the end. The flowergirl's decided to spontaneously pick up the cake knife and wield it over the top whilst the couple looked on terrified (it was a bit of fun). To top it off, the magician and casino arrived which made for some awesome candid shots between the guests and of course the happy couple. I shot so many quirky moments throughout, I couldn't stop smiling, I didn't realise how much my face hurt till I got home after. A great sign of a brilliant wedding!

Getting to where my business is in such a short amount of time. It's quite an amazing thing to build something from nothing and see it so busy and successful. It's a daily reminder for me that I'm doing something right!

Before you book a person/company, please make sure you do your research. Look at reviews, ask questions, make sure they are insured and always have a back up plan.

Promises during a ceremony that were written by the Bride and Groom themselves. It was truly lovely and made the ceremony stand out from the rest. It was more personal and less robotic. There were a lot of tears amoungst the guests.

I don't like seeing clients as clients, but more like friends. So if you want to call me, then call me. If you want to meet me, then meet me. I want every couple to feel comfortable. If you still want to book then I can get you set up with your own account so you can view and sign a contract, fill out a short questionnaire of what you know already and pay a deposit to secure your date. When it gets closer to your special day I will be in touch to organise a meeting/phonecall to discuss your plans.

Simple. Themselves. A lot of couples can get distracted by having pictures for everybody else and forget about themselves. You book this amazing venue, spend all that money, lets use and abuse it as much as we can and get amazing pictures. After all, that's what you will be putting on your wall at home. Isn't it?

Umbrellas and stay positive. If it rains, it rains. Some of the best shots are in the rain. Embrace it.

Believe it or not, I started taking a lot of pictures of aircraft displays. Then I joined a camera club and started a friendship with a wedding photographer. I developed a passion for portraiture and that's where it all begun.
