What is your most memorable wedding?
Most memorable wedding would be Derek and Karen's. 90% of the guests were staying in a local hotel and the bus got lost to the venue. We had a bride, a groom and a small bridal party - with a 45 minutes delay before we had any guests.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Our ability to get great shots and finding the balance of getting time with the bride and groom, but allowing them to also enjoy the festivities.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan early - get things booked as soon as possible. The last few months and weeks will fly by and you'll need that time to adjust for any last minute hiccups
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I loved seeing 6 white doves being released by the bride and groom and young bridesmaids
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We have a pre wedding consultation, discussing the day from a photography point of view - getting a list of must have pictures etc. Bride prep if needed, then over to photograph the groom at the venue whilst we await his bride. ceremony pictures and then the group shots before people disappear. We then do formal photographs and then some private time with the couple. Speeches and cake cutting are taken too. Finally, the important first dance is captures.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first time the couple are alone after the ceremony and formal pictures are done is lovely. Just the couple and the photographer - these pictures really are special. They capture the joy, love and excitement of the day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I think trying to capture the moment the doves were released at a wedding was different. You only get one chance at that kind of shot - but we did it. Check out the pictures section. The dove in flight and the joy and happiness on the young bridesmaids face is a great shot.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
With the British weather, this is always an issue. We always try and find a suitable location despite the weather. Sometimes this simply needs to be indoors, other times a gap in the weather gives us opportunities. We always carry brollies, which can also make a lovely prop on the day.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have been taking pictures for over 30 years and studied at high school for the school productions etc (back when you needed dark rooms and film cameras)
