What is your most memorable wedding?
A beautiful ceremony in Dubluce Castle for a couple eloping from America. The courtyard is always open to the public and just a few minutes before the couple arrived a bus full of French teenagers arrived on a school trip. They were very excited at the prospect of watching a wedding and formed a 'guard of honour' along the pathway for the bride and groom, and sang a chorus of "Here Comes The Bride".It was a magical moment.

What about your business are you most proud of?
No two ceremonies are the same. I provide a personal service and my favourite part of my job is getting to know my wedding clients and working with them to create a unique, bespoke ceremony to be enjoyed and remembered by everyone.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Preparation, preparation, preparation!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The couple's little dog was ring-bearer.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
An informal initial meeting (often over tea and buns!) where I get to know them a little bit. Then I give them some 'homework' - a question sheet to complete that gives me all the information I need and helps them to focus on the content of their ceremony. I can provide suggestions for vows, poems, readings if required. I write the script and send the first draft to my couple, who then 'get their red pen out' and make any changes they want to, so that we get the ceremony perfect. Then we have a rehearsal during the week of the wedding and we're all set for the Big Day.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A full wedding ceremony for just the bride and groom - no guests, just the photographer and me!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Preparation, preparation, preparation! I get to know my wedding couples so that I know their personalities and can anticipate what might be a stress factor for them and avoid it.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To me, planning any ceremony is like producing a show. My background is in theatre so I love creating an original script, directing the 'characters' and staging a beautiful event.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
I offer my wedding couples a Champagne toast to finish their ceremony and the moment they clink glasses is my favourite time because it's the moment they totally relax and start to party!
