Pagan Handfasting Wedding at Cambusnethan Priory
Eclectic; Offbeat; Traditional; BoHo; Joyful
Offering a truly personal service; every ceremony is completely bespoke and tailored to the individuality of each couple.
Be true to yourself and your vision; this is your day.
Having children included in a Handfasting Ceremony; as the couple made their vows, their children were standing around them and each handed me a chord as the vows were said. They then held hands with their parents in a circle to make the final vow a family one.
Get to know them and let them get to know me, if we click we can then start really exploring their vision for their day and, in the process, develop a strong trust and friendship. I am their safety net at all times.
Being asked to create a ceremony to combine Pagan and Buddhist beliefs. Really exciting and very enjoyable
Plan a re wedding run through to make sure everyone knows what they are doing. Being at the venue before anyone else to make sure I am there to support the couple and their supporters
Throughout the planning process remember to enjoy what you are doing and why you're doing it - take time out to actually enjoy being with each other, after all, your wedding day is the start of the rest of your life. Your wedding is to be enjoyed not endured.
The smiles of relief on the faces of the couple when the ceremony is over.
