Most of my weddings take place in a barn, field or garden - all of which have been amazing - but due to the change in location, my most memorable one was a spring wedding in an iconic historical building, on a tiny island, right in the middle of Stockholm. Breathtaking.
Country-loving, problem-solving, fun, approachable, detail-oriented
I get to make a living from doing something I love!
Amazing weddings are less about the stuff, and more about the people. Focus on the things that will make your guests extremely happy - food, drink and brilliant entertainment - and you will have the most amazing wedding too.
Cards on each guest's place setting, that included a personalised thank you to that guest, a fun talking-point about the guest next to them, their menu and their name. All printed in a font produced especially for the wedding.
I would normally come onboard after my couple have decided on a location. I schedule an initial meeting, to get a good idea of requirements, and the 'vibe' we're aiming for, and also check what progress has been made so far. After that, I give as much support as required via email and phone, in terms of supplier recommendations, and other practical aspects of the wedding, and can assist in creating a 'look' too, although I wouldn't class myself as a stylist! After a final meeting a few weeks before the wedding, I would be on-hand to organise the set-up the day before the wedding (if possible) and then I would do the full event management on the day, being your liaison between caterer and other suppliers, and making sure everything runs perfectly on the day. Without having to ask favours of family and friends! I'm also a stickler for the pack-down, to make the following day as easy as possible.
A bird-of-prey display for the drinks reception.

When a couple get announced in to a wedding breakfast. The whooping, the cheering, the sheer joy!
