We cannot thank Susan enough for making our day so special! The ceremony was for us the most important part of the day and we both agreed that our celebrant would need to be someone that we both felt a connection with. Susan straight away made us feel very at ease and comfortable to talk to. After just our first meeting we felt very sure that we were in capable and caring hands. We live in another country with a 6 hour time difference so we were worried about being able to talk and finding suitable times but Susan worked completely selflessly to arrange Skype meetings that would best suit us! She really made it seem like it wasn’t anything to worry about and I really thank her for accommodating those meetings so kindly. Susan listened carefully to the history of our relationship and our thoughts on each other and our marriage and used our own words and thoughts to create and deliver a beautiful ceremony. She listened to any worries we had about family members and was able to include my faith in a way that best suited us as a couple and our families. The words within our ceremony were personal and very beautiful. All of our guests commented on how the ceremony felt truly special as it was so personal. Susan went above and beyond to create a ceremony that was perfect for us and has helped to create such special memories that we will treasure for life! I’m so tremendously happy that we met Sue at a wedding open day. From the first time we met I knew she was the celebrant for our wedding. When you start to plan the wedding you think the dress, the venue and the food are some the most important parts of the day. On the weeks running up to the wedding it dawns on you, well it certainly did me(!), that actually the most important thing are the words said and the promise made. That is ultimately the reason of the wedding. Sue hand crafted a bespoke wedding that wasn’t too romantic, wasn’t religious, wasn’t too short or too long, and incorporated all the people and parts of our relationship that helped our relationship grow into the partnership and marriage that we have today. Our guests all thoroughly enjoyed the different elements we included in the ceremony (the poem, candle lighting and hand fasting) and have all commented that the humour and also the sentiment that flowed through the entire ceremony, it was ‘very us’. Nothing was too much trouble for Sue, she visited the venue and met with us several times to really understand who we are individually as well as in our partnership, and wrote our ceremony beautifully in the up coming weeks to the wedding. I couldn’t thank Sue enough for helping to make our wedding perfect and for describing our relationship so accurately, setting us off into married life on a high. Thank you. A day we will never forget… not just the perfect wedding but a day surrounded by the most perfect people and I don’t just mean the guests, this went as far as the people we chose to make our day run stress and worry free.
