I am a watercolourist, but also use a lot or inks in my work as well as digital art. I take great pleasure in creating stationery and quirky favours that reflect the style of the wedding and the venue, and try to capture the essence of your wedding in an image that your friends and family will want to keep. I am happy to undertake work for same sex couples and for themed weddings. I am also a calligrapher, and can personalise your invitations by hand.

Baby blessing and vow renewal

We had arranged a pregnancy blessing, which turned into a spontaneous vow renewal. We wanted to post something out to inform our friends and family so our celebrant recommended we approach Deb at Inked by Hand to design something for us. We were thrilled with the cards she made for us - perfect for our 1920’s themed vow renewal / baby blessing..... and we were even on the rock’n’roll bride blog as a real wedding feature. Our bespoke Christmas invites

We saw Inked by Hand’s reindeer Christmas cards advertised on Etsy and thought they would be perfect for our wedding. We contacted Deb and asked if she could make us some special Christmas cards using the reindeer what we could also send out as our wedding invitations. She did an amazing job. Deb kept us in the loop and sent us lots of proofs before printing off and sending through our special cards. Brilliant service

Scrabble Wonder

Nothing too much trouble

My daughter in law had no idea what she wanted for her wedding - Deb gave her lots of ideas and everyone who received them thought they were the most beautiful invitations ever - nothing was too much trouble when we needed to order more - what a unique idea to portray the venue on the invites and a special thank you for the coasters with the anvil on for the Gretna Green wedding - would definitely recommend.

I’ve asked Deb a few times to provide some little bits of stationery for me to use when photographing and selling my own wedding products. Deb has always done a great job, but I particularly love these citrus themed invites she designed for me. Job well done Deb - I would recommend inked by hand to anyone looking for a wedding stationery supplier

Stationery for photoshoot a+

I asked Deb to help by making a table plan, 50 place cards and 50 menu cards for a photoshoot taking place at the holiday in Leeds/Bradford so they can update the wedding section of their website. It was a last minute request, but deb rose to the challenge. She made some absolutely beautiful place cards and menu cards for me, a matching table plan, and she also threw in a set on invitations to match. They’re going to look amazing in the professional photographs

Lots of questions to ascertain what you like, and what your needs are. Draft designs sent through, using a jointly agreed timescale, and re-drafted designs until everything is just right.
