I get to know my clients a little and ask them to provide me with the key information they'd like to include in their poem, and we discuss the style, tone and length they've been imagining. I then email my clients a copy of the poem, at which point any amendments can be made ahead of the poem being printed on lovely parchment-style paper and posted to the couple, to be read out at their ceremony and then framed as a memento!
