We have been working with Alcott Weddings for a number of years and it's absolutely one of our favourite venues. Gorgeous open space, completely blank canvas to create your own perfect and unique day and they get the most amazing sunsets! Being a wedding photographer, I'm very lucky to be able to see many wedding venues every year. I first visited Alcott Farm about four years ago and quickly fell in love with it. Lucy and her team are not only super friendly, but also very professional. A great countryside location to host your bespoke wedding. Lucy has got the best spot for festival style outdoor weddings, or classic English country marquees and its hard to believe this stunning rural setting is only 40 mins or so from central Birmingham! It's always a pleasure to do weddings here as it's so organised and friendly. Lucy is always happy to help. She's got great marquee and tipi suppliers who provide fabulous structures for the perfect outdoor day. We are a Capri marquee supplier for Lucy at Alcott Weddings. The venue is superb, it’s in a great location in the countryside with easy access to the M42/M40, it’s safe, secure with easy access and ample parking. Lucy takes care of everything, we simply come in set up, safe in the knowledge our equipment is secure. The venue is clean, idyllic and well managed by Lucy and her team. My partner & I booked Alcott nearly two years ago & over that time Lucy has been Amazing. She has kept us informed & up to date with everything. She advised us of what we needed, such as documents from our suppliers, she gave us information on suppliers we may have been interested in & helped with the day to day planning of our Wonderful Big Day. Lucy has been a backbone, offering help & support & helped make our whole day go smoothly. We can’t thank her & all the staff at Alcott, including her Mother…..she was so friendly & her breakfast was really tasty. We stayed in a cottage & was glad we did as the extra room was ideal for me getting my hair & make up done on the morning. We can’t recommend Lucy & Alcott Weddings enough for our big, bespoke Wedding day. We came across Alcott Farm at the end of 2015 through their website. After reading some great reviews, we arranged a meeting with Lucy at Christmas and we were put at ease straight away. Meeting over a friendly cuppa, we were able to get our date booked in. The farm, lake and fields really speak for themselves- set in beautiful surroundings we were hooked straight away. We knew what wedding we were wanting from the outset and chatting through our ideas with Lucy, we realised she was going to help as much as possible to make our dream a reality. Throughout the following year, we were guided with suppliers, sent recommendations for us to look into and we continued to receive friendly emails to see if there was any more that Lucy could help us with. We looked into additional suppliers and Lucy couldn’t have been more accommodating, speaking with them to make sure it would all work ok on the day. All of this really helped to make the build up to the wedding so much easier. The wedding weekend soon flew round and throughout the whole time, Lucy and her team were at hand and on site, meeting with our suppliers and helping set the venue up. Our families and bridesmaids were welcomed and settled into their rooms on the evening before, along with all of us being cooked a fab breakfast each morning at a time to suit. On the Sunday, it was all hands on deck for the clear down and Lucy and her team were with us all the way. To be able to say that the only nerves in the build up to the wedding was whether the weather was going to be on our side, we couldn’t recommend booking your wedding at Alcott farm enough. Thank you to Lucy and all the team- we really had the best day of our lives and you all helped to make it that bit more special. Beautiful setting where we could make it our own and an absolutely fabulous welcome at the B&B. We couldn’t have found a better and more amazing location for our wedding!
