Featuring a party barn with rustic oak ceiling and stone walls paired with modern lighting and beautiful glass doors, Askham Hall is a wondrous combination of old and new. Askham Hall is a country hotel brought into the 21st century. This wedding venue is available for exclusive use, and includes all linens, cutlery, and glasses. Up to 150 guests will enjoy a delectable meal made from locally sourced produce grown right on the hall grounds or on their family estate, the Lowther estate.

When we woke up the morning after the wedding and the reception the night before, it felt like we were in a dream. We didn't want to move in case it wasn't real it was that magical. Two months later I still have a massive smile on my face because of the efficiency, splendour and character of Askham hall and its staff. The staff at Askham Hall were amazing throughout the whole wedding process. We felt they were friendly, organised and realiable. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. There are so many different aspects and back drops and the accommodation over the weekend (we had exclusivity) was more than we could have ever wished for. We would most definitely recommend the venue to friends, family and anyone who would listen! We got only positive feedback from all our guests, both in residence and not.The staff at Askham Hall were amazing throughout the whole wedding process. We felt they were friendly, organised and realiable. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. There are so many different aspects and back drops and the accommodation over the weekend (we had exclusivity) was more than we could have ever wished for. We would most definitely recommend the venue to friends, family and anyone who would listen! We got only positive feedback from all our guests, both in residence and not.

Askham Hall was everything...Askham Hall was everything...
Askham Hall was everything and more that we wanted for our wedding. All the staff were amazing in the run up and on the day they were outstanding. We loved having the hall for the night before the wedding too. Nico was fabulous . The gardens are the most beautiful along with the rest of the grounds. Food was out of this world, i still think about the beef we had for our wedding breakfast. I wish I could do the day again and can not wait to go back and celebrate our anniversary there.Askham Hall was everything and more that we wanted for our wedding. All the events team were fantastic. They really knew their stuff and pointed me in the direction of suppliers i needed to speak too. They were always at the end of the phone or email if i needed to speak to them and they were always so helpful when i was having my bridezilla moments.All the events team were fantastic. Askham gave our wedding a personal touch. Many other venues have 'set wedding options' but Askham allow you to tailor make your wedding day. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. From the first visit to the follow up emails after the wedding we were made to feel important and welcome. The staff in the care, house and on the wedding day were professional and always keen to help. The feedback from our guests was also very complimentary.Askham gave our wedding a personal touch.
