Combining a chic and rural charm, Bartle Hall offers you the best of both worlds. Start your wedding in style with our impressive Thicket Lodge with 4 person Jacuzzi bath, providing the perfect retreat to pamper and prepare the night before your wedding with your bridal party. On your big day - anticipation builds as you walk down our feature staircase, then ‘make an entrance’ to your ceremony where double doors open to a reveal a long and impressive aisle. After your ceremony, relax in the lounge for a tipple or spill out on to the lawn where you will have exclusive use of the grounds. Dine under fairy lit beams and party through the night in our stunning Coaching Barn. Hidden away in the grounds, the barn has a special setting for your celebrations to unfold. Exposed brickwork and high ceilings with timber beams, the room is full of character and has atmospheric lighting to enhance its features and your colour scheme. The bar is in the middle of the room so guests are kept together and has windows at the back of the bar so guests can get served drinks from the outside festoon lit private patio. Complimentary luxury accommodation in our impressive Four Poster with copper bathtub set overlooking the landscaped gardens. The perfect place to spend your first night as newlyweds.

The comments we received off our family and friends confirmed that we chose the perfect venue to host our wedding. Since we made the initial appointment to view the venue and meet with the wedding team, the help and advice we’ve received has been exceptional and this shone through on the day itself. All your staff are a credit to the hotel, you gave us a day to remember.We just want to thank the efforts of all the staff at Bartle Hall for helping to make our wedding day so special and memorable. We had our wedding at Bartle Hall on the 15th December 2019 and it was incredible! The venue looked stunning and all the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They helped to make our day perfect and I honestly cannot recommend them enough! I just wish that we could do it all again! I don’t think we can thank you enough for what you did for us. We had our dream wedding thanks to the Bartle Hall team. Everything ran so smoothly, the décor was stunning and the staff were so incredibly helpful and assisting to all guests and especially family and the bridal / groom party. All of the staff were so accommodating and made us feel that no request was too big! The food! The food was amazing! Guests were so complimentary of the wedding breakfast and evening food. It was absolutely gorgeous! A big shout out to Heather who kept everything running like clock work on the day and to Georgie and Lyndsey who have helped, supported and accommodated us at every step of the way! I don’t think we can thank you enough for what you did for us. We had our dream wedding thanks to the Bartle Hall team. The whole experience was just amazing...The whole experience was just amazing...
We held our wedding at Bartle Hall on the 7th March this year, and the whole experience was just amazing. The Weddings team during the planning process are helpful, supportive and just generally lovely...even when in the week before your wedding you send them about 8 emails a day, Rachel in particular couldn’t have done more for us. Nothing is too much trouble when planning your wedding meal and the trial meal experience is just fab. The actual day was just absolutely amazing and this was down to the organisation, professionalism and lovely personalities that guide you through it. Heather and Paul looked after us on the day, from making sure we got to take 5 minutes to ourselves straight after our ceremony, to the best and most rousing introduction as a married couple to our wedding breakfast guests, these were all the things that just made the day perfect. We couldn’t have felt more special and more looked after they were just the best. A beautiful hotel, would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding or any special occasion. From start to finish, it was absolutely perfectFrom start to finish, it was absolutely perfect
We had our wedding in the Balmoral Suite at the beginning of September and from start to finish it was absolutely perfect. The room and the garden at the back are beautiful and the food was gorgeous! Special mention to Paul and Heather who did such a good job at making the day run smoothly. You hardly noticed them there but they did such a seamless job. Paul was great at making sure we were happy with everything - we really felt like he cared that our day was as perfect as it could be. And I've never been as happy as when Heather told us she has saved us a bacon butty at the end of the night! We just wanted to say a huge big thank you for the wonderful day that we had for our wedding. Georgie and the team were so helpful and lovely to deal with throughout the whole process of booking our wedding, our taster meal and at all of the appointments we had. Our day was exactly what we hoped it would be and we both had the best time! We've had lots of guests mention how great the staff were, how lovely the venue was and how amazing the food was! We really didn't worry about a thing the whole day and it was so nice to be able to concentrate on enjoying our day and night knowing that everything was being taken care of so well. So thank you to all of the chefs and staff who helped. Everything was perfect. In particular, we wanted to say a big thank you to Heather for running our day. She was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and she had the best energy all day! Even a very last minute place change was dealt with without any problems. The lady who served us and a few guests in the residents bar before the end of the night was also really helpful and lovely (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name - but you made us a little cheese plate from our wedding cake to have with our drinks which we loved!). We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day and are both so glad that we chose Bartle Hall - thank you so much.
