We offer a selection of our most popular packages, but we’re equally happy to create your perfect day, your way. Sometimes true love just can’t wait. I had the most amazing day!I had the most amazing day!
I had the most amazing day. The staff were amazing and the day went so smoothly and that's all thanks to them. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding and I want to do it all over again. Ella Lee is the best wedding co-ordinator - nothing was to much trouble and she went above and beyond for my husband and I. The bar and catering staff were amazing and so friendly. The food was amazing and so was the drinks. Everyone commented how tasty the food was. I could not ask for a better venue. I loved all the wildlife around the grounds. It is truly naturally beautiful.I had the most amazing day. The staff were amazing and the day went so smoothly and that's all thanks to them. Our day was excellent, the staff were very attentive but not in your face, which made our day extra special. We found Ella to be professional and helpful in all respects. We would recommend her services to anyone. The maser off ceremonies was attentive and always on hand to help when needed. All the staff were excellent and helpful. The food was perfect and all guests enjoyed their meals. We would recommend the venue to anyone. We got good value and a lot more than we expected.Our day was excellent, the staff were very attentive but not in your face, which made our day extra special. The staff at the venue were fantastic. The venue was perfect, nothing was to much trouble at all during the planning stage or on the day. The organisation was amazing and the staff look after all details on the day to help the smooth running of your wedding. Ella Lee has been amazing from the first meeting, we were blown away by the organisation, support and patience, especially as there was a short amount of time to organise everything. Even though Ella wasn't able to attend our wedding day, Gemma and Michael were amazing. The greeting on arrival was 5 star. The whole team were on hand and ready to help. Throughout the day all the staff were outstanding, helpful, friendly and welcoming to all guests. They went above and beyond to make sure it all ran smoothly. The food was of the highest quality and every table commented on how good the food was and how it catered for all guests. People, weeks after the wedding, were still talking about how much they enjoyed the food. Excellent options to choose from for all guests, allergies and dietary requirements were no problem and excellent. Bowood is a stunning location and has great views over the golf course and onto acres of stunning land. The venue is a great size and can cater for large or small wedding parties. The wedding was great value for money, you revive so much for your money from service, venue, staff and food. We wouldn't change anything about the day, it was perfect and all our guests loved it! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

My favourite wedding was held in November - the whole room, setup, décor and most importantly the atmosphere was amazing. The couple were so lovely, and I really enjoyed being a part of the build up to their big day and helping them plan the perfect wedding. They had a very rustic approach with a local live band and a few fun games along the way for their guests, one being the wheel of misfortune! The wedding was all about having fun and that they certainly did.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Take a moment to remind yourself what’s really important to you both. Many couples get swept up in the moment and get carried away and then feel disappointed when things may not be possible – be realistic and honest at the very start!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Each guest received a handwritten note with a memory and photo tied to slate hearts - so cute!

Elegant, picturesque, friendly, scenic, remote.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

By the golden gates - a very iconic spot for the hotel. Makes for beautifully traditional photos and very impressive!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

No weddings just yet, but several have held social events or visited for an afternoon tea!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Has to be the chicken bites, with sweet chilli dip - delish!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

We say why wait until midnight? Our evening menu is pretty tasty. In between some serious dancing and another prosecco, you can enjoy hog roast, pizza, paella, nachos... you name it and our chef can make it!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

My personal favourite is our private terrace with the picturesque views of parkland and our resident wildlife!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

I'm extremely proud of the flexibility of our team to ensure you have the perfect wedding! We make regular changes - sometimes at short notice, to suit your requirements and ideas to make sure your vision comes to life on your big day.
