Cressbrook Hall is no ordinary wedding venue. Indeed it's only fair to warn you, you'll simply fall in love with it the minute you first arrive. Set in 23 acres of beautiful woodland in the Derbyshire Peak District, near Bakewell, Cressbrook offers a spectacular, secluded setting where you can celebrate your special day in privacy and comfort, and remember it forever in photographs with the most magnificent backdrop imaginable. Working alongside the happy couple and their families, Emily and Harriet ensure every Cressbrook Hall wedding is specifically tailored to individual requirements, with exquisite attention to detail. Everything can be taken care of at Cressbrook Hall, from the ceremony itself, right through to accommodation for your guests. You can confidently leave things to our experienced team, or we can work with you or your wedding planner to provide the wedding of your dreams. We have three wonderful settings licensed for civil ceremonies; either indoors in the magnificent Drawing Room or Granary, or outdoors in the Floral Arcade with the most stunning views. All these locations will provide the perfect backdrop to take your vows and of course your photographs.

You were all amazingYou were all amazing
I don’t even know where to start, I know how everyone says your wedding day is the best day of your life but it truly was and I don’t think it would of been with out the amazing team at Cressbrook from me constantly emailing Emily who was perfect and helped no end to the kitchen staff, the bar staff and even the ladies who were setting out the tables individually wiping all the glasses you were all amazing and helped me and Nick enjoy are day, Bobby is amazing and when she showed us round we just knew it was perfect for us she told us different ways to keep costs down depending on our budget, how we can dress the venue and what looks nice, Thank you all for your hard work you we’re all amazing and I’d recommend anyone who is considering to look round to do so the gardens and scenery are spot on and the staff are ace. What a fantastic day and night for mine and Katies wedding! Cressbrook went above and beyond to make our day so special. Highly recommend this venue for weddings or any celebration. Thank you to all the staff at Cressbrook you made are wedding day perfect 👌 from the first day we came to this venue Bobby was honest and the most helpful venue owner we met. She gave us lots of help and spent time with us then she showed us round and what a fantastic venue. It was the most amazing day!It was the most amazing day!
We got married here on 6th May and it was the most amazing day! The service and staff were incredible- nothing was too much trouble and they did everything they could to make the day wonderful. There is a very flexible approach so we could do as much or as little as we wanted in terms of setting up etc. Cressbrook is the perfect venue for anyone who doesn't want a package wedding- every wedding they do is unique and individual. We cannot rate the team and venue enough! Seriously look no further!! The gardens and views are outstanding and our wedding photographer was spoilt for choice! We took a lot of the cottages on site for the wedding party and family - the views were breathtaking. We will definitely come back for a visit! We had our wedding reception at Cressbrook Hall on Saturday 1st April 2017, after our marriage in Ashford-in-the Water church. We had 76 day guests and additional guests for the evening. We cannot fault Cressbrook Hall as a venue. The setting is spectacular with amazing views of the hills on the opposite side of the valley – so many of our guests commented on the stunning location and beautiful gardens. The staff on the day were really helpful and flexible – a special thank you goes to Emily who helped ensure the day ran smoothly and was extremely professional, attentive and efficient throughout the day. The in-house canapes and sit down meal were excellent. This venue affords so much flexibility to make the day exactly as you would like. Cressbrook Hall also have a number of holiday cottages on the estate so there is the option for guests to stay on site – the majority of our guests opted to do this and we filled all nine cottages. The most perfect dayThe most perfect day
We got married on the 7th June 2017 and it was the most perfect day from start to finish. The communication from the ladies who own this beautiful estate were so helpful with any query I had and nothing was too much trouble for them. The were very accommodating to schedules and we had a few issues and arrived a little later on the day prior to the wedding. Again, they were very helpful and made sure we were ok before they had to leave for the night. We were able to set up the tables the night before and were left to set up in peace. Only complaint I have it one of the showers wasn’t working correctly, but everyone who stayed was able to work around the issue. The setting is beautiful and our wedding photos looked stunning! The food was lovely and professionally presented. If you are looking for picturesque, then this is the venue for you. Totally blown awayTotally blown away
Visited this beautiful wedding venue today for the first time and was totally blown away with it and the wonderful staff. It's perfect in every way and I can't wait to go back. The character and the style of the hall is stunning and the views are breathtaking. I really didn't want to leave.
