Description

As barn wedding venues go you can’t get more picturesque than The Ashes Barns and Country House. The fifty acre estate rests at the foothills of the Peak District National Park, within the borders of Staffordshire in the West Midlands. Amble up the mile long, tree-lined, private driveway through golden fields of corn and lush grassland, over a 17th century stone bridge and you begin to appreciate the charm of this stunning countryside wedding venue. Featuring a lake, a flagstone platform overlooking the majestic pond, formal lawns with blossoming landscaped borders, an intimate stone courtyard and the Grade II* Listed Country House as backdrops for your wedding; both you and your wedding photographer are sure to be inspired by the setting. The award-winning barn venue is available for exclusive hire, so you and your guests can enjoy all that the venue has to offer in a private celebration. Exclusivity is included in the venue hire charge and includes use of The West Barn, The East Barn, The Wedding Night Suite, The Dressing Room, the gorgeous grounds and gardens and much more. Onsite Accommodation! We look forward to welcoming you and your guests to stay overnight with us in our collection of stylish, quirky and romantic wedding accommodation. We can cater for small, intimate occasions for around 30 or 40 guests and larger events with up to 150. The 17th century rustic West Barn is the perfect space for your ceremony. The charming Juliet Balcony gives the venue distinct character and the perfect space for musicians during the ceremony. Following your ceremony, The East Barn is a spacious banqueting hall for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
