We offer both 3-day and 1-day wedding packages, where we give you complete freedom to enjoy our venue and surrounding space. Our 3-day wedding is perfect for those wanting to extend their celebrations, giving you and your guests the opportunity to relax and fully immerse yourself in the idyllic Northumberland countryside. With our accommodation merely a stone’s throw and exclusively yours for two nights, we have all the ingredients for making sure you have a stress-free wedding. Our 1-day wedding option provides a more traditional choice of celebrating your wedding in a single day, without compromising the outstanding beauty and impeccable service our venue has to offer. We specialise in creating wedding experiences that are completely bespoke to you. We are very flexible in the way we work and will liaise with you to create a tailored and personal wedding that delivers all you need and want.

The venue, the staff, the food!!!The venue, the staff, the food!!!
Firstly, the venue is simply beautiful! It was only the second venue we visited but were totally blown away and booked within 24 hours of visiting. Gorgeous. Secondly, the staff. OMG, the staff are sensational! The team know EXACTLY what to do in every situation, for every individual guest. Gemma and Claire honestly made the day so much easier and were perfect. Our guests were blown away by their exceptional attentiveness and knowing exactly what level of attentiveness to give at every point. Claire, Gemma and their team are incredible and a total credit to Doxford Barns. Lastly, the food. Goodness, our guests are STILL talking about how good the food was a month afterwards. We were there for 3 days and were fed throughout and it was the perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The drinks were also amazing and the bar staff were so lovely, even having banter with guests when appropriate.Firstly, the venue is simply beautiful! I can honestly say our wedding was the best day of my life - absolutely perfect from start to finish! The service and food was first class with every single member of staff working hard to deliver our perfect day. The venue itself looked stunning with the magical Threshing Hall stealing the show for me personally – I just love it!! All our guests raved about our big day and how impressed they were with Doxford Barns.I can honestly say our wedding was the best day of my life - absolutely perfect from start to finish! The service and food was first class with every single member of staff working hard to deliver our perfect day. The venue itself looked stunning with the magical Threshing Hall stealing the show for me personally – I just love it!! All our guests raved about our big day and how impressed they were with Doxford Barns.

We got married in July and the venue is stunning, however what made it truly memorable were the amazing staff at Doxford barns. they could not have done enough to help us and make us feel welcome, even changing the food choices for one guest on the morning of the wedding due to changes in dietary requirements. the chef on the day spoke to our guest on the phone to ask what she liked and what she could eat and created dishes especially. completely outstanding and personal treatment. We booked a 3-day wedding & got married 8th June 2019. The cottages were spotless and really well equipped, we had a great time in them on Friday night after decorating the venue. We can't fault Abi, Gemma or any of the staff at our wedding - everything was seamless on the day and communication running up to the weekend was brilliant. All our guests raved about the food and the venue itself - we have to agree! In the evening when it cleared up our guests loved the outside spaces and the fire pits.We booked a 3-day wedding & got married 8th June 2019. Just wow! from the moment I visited there on a open day, the threshing hall took my breath away and the great barn so beautifully rustic. I knew it was the perfect venue for our big day. The fact you get the whole place for the weekend really made it for us. Arrival on the Friday we were met by the most friendly/relaxed and informative team members David, Gemma and Gina! who instantly made us and the bridal party feel welcome and at home. We were left to decorate and make the space personal and our own, however you want it. Obviously on hand when needed. communication on the Friday and on the day was 'flawless' and the service from the staff were first class as was the food. Myself and guest had a fab day which we will never forget. shout out to the die hard's Gemma and David who were there with us the whole weekend and worked there socks off whist having fun and making memories with us at the same time. true customer service right there. Absolutely phenomenal. The staff are incredible and took such good care of us. The food was top notch and guests are still talking about it! The cottages were beautiful and well catered for - even had milk, tea, coffee and treats for all guests. The venue itself is GORGEOUS! People said ‘Game of Thrones’ ‘Harry Potter’ ‘magical’ ‘fairy tale’ ‘perfect’ ‘rustic’ and so much more. Our entire wedding from Tuesday through to Thursday was seamless and we owe it entirely to the staff at Doxford Barns. Claire, Gemma and the team were all incredible and I cannot recommend them enough. They made our wedding the ‘wedding of the century’ (or so says a very happy guest)! Being able to stay there the night before really makes the whole experience that little bit more personal and family orientated. We arrived to the venue and straight away Gemma was there to help, asking if I needed anything. Once I was in the Barn I had the wonderful Emily on hand to help me with setting it up. Between Gemma, Emily and I we got people in the right places so the food service the next day would run smoothly. Both of the girls were awesome the day before, without them I would have felt even more stressed. I used to work with Gemma when I was in school and on the morning of my wedding to find out she was going to be running the day made me feel relaxed as I knew she would do everything in her power to make the day run smoothly. Any question I had she would have an answer to and if I needed anything she would sort it there and then. Throughout the meal Nick was so attentive and made sure Ben and I had drinks, checked the food was ok and always served us with a smile. He is a true gentleman. Overall the whole experience was what I imagined and more, everybody loved the food, they loved the venue and that’s all I could ever ask for. The staff helped me out over the days I was there and made us both feel so special. I can’t thank Gemma enough for running the day and the rest of her team that she had working with her. I was delighted to be part of the bridal party of Laura and David jarwick on 3.11.18, we had the weekend booked in at doxford barns from Friday to Sunday and I have to say it was the most special, romantic, beautiful place I've ever been to. The whole weekend was one to remember and made ever so special by the staff . Gemma especially is a wonderful lady ,nothing was too much hastle for her. The food was outstanding, I have honestly never had such nice meals. I will 110% be telling friends and family about this amazing place.I was delighted to be part of the bridal party of Laura and David jarwick on 3.11.18, we had the weekend booked in at doxford barns from Friday to Sunday and I have to say it was the most special, romantic, beautiful place I've ever been to.
