Nestled atop rolling green hills on the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire, Heaton House Farm is a gorgeous countryside wedding venue that you’ll fall in love with the moment you set eyes on it. Boasting stunning views across three counties, rustic barns equipped with modern, luxury conveniences, on-site catering and on-site accommodation, we have everything you need to bring your dream wedding to life.
Start with our custom-made bridal preparation suite, the perfect place to get ready for your big day – with long make-up and hair counters, full length mirrors, a prosecco fridge and wonderful countryside views through large glass doors. Welcome guests outside on our gorgeous patio which surrounds the whole venue or congregate in our oak-beamed barn – complete with log burners and underfloor heating.
Choose from four unique ceremony areas where you and your partner can tie the knot – in our Oak-Beamed Barn, under our elegant white pleats, beneath our mesmerising twinkly night sky, or outdoors at the Oak Pagoda.
We provide the perfect setting and a blank canvas, and you transform our converted barns anyway you’d like. But don’t worry, our award-winning events team is on hand to help you every step of the way. And we’ve got all the luxury facilities any couple deserves – all on our working farm.
Our wedding barn and dining barn are fully equipped with all the amenities you’ll need for your incredible day. Enjoy a purpose-built bar, a dedicated seating area and a sensational dancefloor – with integrated AV for speeches, DJ’s, live bands and any other entertainment you’d like. Each room can be re-sized too to create a cosy atmosphere for a small number of guests or opened up to accommodate hundreds of well-wishers.
And when the night is over, relax in our luxury on-site accommodation.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Wow, we've just had so many AMAZING weddings at the venue, and every one so very different from the other. But one we will never forget was a Monday wedding, it didn't have over the top decor but it looked beautiful, it didn't have hundreds of guests, but every single guest there was lovely and up for a good time and that's exactly what that couple had! They enjoyed a romantic ceremony followed by one heck of a party with a full dancefloor the whole evening!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We've seen some fantastic personalised items at weddings, from memory tables, to homemade photo-backdrops. But one that our team remember well is a speech by a best man who had got the whole of the bridal party together at the Bride's parents house and recorded a music video with a rap to play during the speeches! It was hilarious but personal at the same time and certainly one that won't be forgotten by anywhere there!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Too many to choose from! The obvious one would be by our notorious Sycamore Tree on the North Lawn overlooking the phenomenal views over Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire, however, we love it when photographers take our couples around our land to explore for quirky spots, such as in our cornfields in September, we love to see what they come up for a 'new' backdrop!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Over the years we have had a few footballers who celebrated their special day at the venue, and we've also had an Olympic Gold Medalist cyclist, they were a lovely couple, and had some famous guests too ;) They had a beautiful, fun wedding that even featured a full-sized carousel in the grounds for their guests to enjoy.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our onsite caterers, Stable Yard Catering, have an AMAZING variety from Canapes, we love the fish, chips and peas canape thought, delicious!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
The Stable Yard Spuds stand is where you would find us, nothing beats chunky chips!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our views, you can't beat the views from the north lawn and our couples are extremely lucky as they can also enjoy the views from their Honeymoon Suite windows too!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Whoever you speak to here will say the same, we are most proud of our team, we are always working so well together, we have a great friendship as well as a working relationship. We are always willing to help and support each other, always going above and beyond for a client or each other.
