Allow Finnebrogue Woods to host your special day in our secluded outdoor venue, which offers something truly unique for the couple who prefer the quirky and unusual.
Hear the gasps of amazement as your guests emerge from the winding, woodland path and set eyes on your magnificent tipi reception.
Offering a very different experience to the traditional hotel wedding reception, our tipi site boasts four giant tipis which can accommodate up to 165 guests. Spacious, dry and kitted out with everything you’ll need to make your day go without a hitch, our tipis can also be adapted according to wedding party size, with room for up to 300 people. With only one wedding per weekend, you can rest assured that your special celebration will be completely exclusive.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
That's a difficult one as each and every wedding we have done at Finnebrogue Woods has been really special. We give our couples quite a free rein so if they would like to do something out of the ordinary that we can cater for, we are all for it! We had one couple get married across the lake on small jetty with all their guests looking on from the tipi site on the other side of the lake. We will remember that one as it is so different.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't ever think an idea you have is too wacky; just go with it! It is your one day where you can really express yourselves. Also don't stress the detail too much. If you can't get the right shaped napkin rings, does it really matter??
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
When one of our couple cut their cake with a chainsaw as the groom was a tree surgeon - cake was flying everywhere!!

When I see the pure joy on not only the couple's faces, but of all the guests, young and old, all letting their hair down, having the most wonderful time. That's when I think, yep, I've done something right!
