Flanesford

Flanesford is a grade 1 listed 14th century Monastery, set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, along side the banks of the River Wye and nestled beneath the majestic Goodrich Castle, Flanesford offers the most perfect setting for your special day. Wedding ceremonies can be held within The Glebe Room, the marquee or on the lawn, surrounded by the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Our Glebe Room, with its high-beamed ceiling and stone wall can seat up to 80 guests. The gardens at Flanesford, with sweeping countryside views, provide the perfect backdrop for your champagne reception and canapes. For your wedding breakfast, the marquee is adaptable in terms of size and decor, and can seat from 70 to 200 guests. Our in-house caterer, Izzie's, prides itself on excellent quality home cooked food prepared with local and seasonal produce, presented to an exceptional standard. With over 30 years in the catering world, Each event is bespoke and menus can be adapted to suit your unique requirements. You will have access to The Glebe Room and marquee the day before the wedding allowing you plenty of time to decorate and add those personal touches that make it your own. You will have access to the surrounding landscapes of the Wye Valley, with beautiful backdrops in abundance for your wedding photographs. We have eight self-catering apartments. We can accommodate up to 39 guests, which includes our luxurious Cider Mill cottage, complete with bridal suite. minimum of 2 night stays.
