Description

Gants Mill is the perfect country garden venue, where you can be confident of an enchanting and memorable day. Our aim is for you to have as much freedom and choice as possible. Therefore, while we can recommend excellent caterers and other suppliers, you are free to choose whoever you want. We have a full alcohol and entertainment licence, but you decide what arrangements will best suit your event: corkage is a banned word here! We are a very different venue. As we have as few restrictions as possible, we hope you can feel this is your own place for the day. At Gants Mill you get exclusive use of the secluded fifty acre river valley, the idyllic gardens and the stunning Mill itself, which has a history stretching back over 1,000 years. We have a choice of sites for your civil ceremony, including the lovely Gazebo. For your reception we have a traditional furnished marquee, positioned to give your guests views of the flowers and the beautiful grounds.

What can I say! Gants Mill is simply the most beautiful setting for a wedding, and what an owner... such a passionate, personal, lovely gentleman. You really do feel like you join a family when you book at Gants Mill. No matter what time of year it is, Gants Mill is stunning there is so much thought in the venue. You can literally do as much or as little as you want! Greg the owner is a fountain of all knowledge and ridiculously helpful. I could not recommend it enough, if I could go back and do it all again I would! What can I say! Gants Mill is simply the most beautiful setting for a wedding, and what an owner... such a passionate, personal, lovely gentleman. You really do feel like you join a family when you book at Gants Mill. No matter what time of year it is, Gants Mill is stunning there is so much thought in the venue. Our favourite day!Our favourite day!
We got married at Gants Mill in 2016 and it was the perfect place for us! The garden was filled with colourful flowers and the most beautiful setting for our ceremony, and we loved how we were able to create a space that completely reflected us in the marquee. This was very important to us, as was being able to invite lots of guests and choose our own caterers, both of which we could do! Greg and Elaine were wonderful hosts with lots of recommendations that helped us create the day we wanted and make sure it ran smoothly. We could not have picked a more beautiful, perfect venue for our wedding day.We got married at Gants Mill in 2016 and it was the perfect place for us! The garden was filled with colourful flowers and the most beautiful setting for our ceremony, and we loved how we were able to create a space that completely reflected us in the marquee. From start to finish Greg was fantastic. A dream to organise, nothing warn too much trouble and our day was wonderful. I’m sure he even fixed the weather. A garden party vibe which was our dream. We married at Gants Mill in 2013. The planning stage in the months running up to the day were well managed by Greg , the owner of the mill. This made everything so much easier and stress free. The day itself ran smoothly and we enjoyed a fantastic day in the beautiful surroundings of Gants Mill. The fact that we could choose our own caterers, bring our own booze and decorate the marquee in our own way meant that the wedding felt completely personal and everything that we had imagined it to be. We fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. We were married in June 2016 and thanks to Elaine the garden was breathtaking and made the most amazing backdrop for our photos .Greg could answer any question you had and was full of fantastic ideas and suggestions. Our day was amazing and we have received nothing but compliments ever since . We fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. We had a wonderful wedding day at Gants Mill. Greg provides a blank canvas to individualise. He is the ultimate bonus to this beautiful venue, acting as a pretty awesome wedding planner. Greg makes very helpful suggestions and is very experienced. He makes each and every family member and those of the wedding party feel special. Then there are the stunning grounds, tended to round the year by Elaine. The flowers bloom vibrant colours in the summer and the old mill makes for beautiful wedding photos. We loved getting hitched on the gazebo as it felt kind of intimate on what can be a nerve wracking moment! Highly recommend Gants Mill for budget friendly and high quality wedding venue. We had our dream wedding come true at Gants Mill thanks to Greg and Elaine. We had the most fantastic day and so did our family and friends.
