We are licensed to hold civil weddings and partnerships in our beautifully decorated Lowther Suite and also the fabulous Georgian Suite. Lowther Room : Maximum 40 guests (for ceremony and wedding breakfast) Georgian Suite : Maximum 140 guests (ceremony) and 160 guests (evening) Wedding packages starting from £3350 or alternatively we can create a bespoke package for you! Newly refurbished bar and restaurant area. Perfect for cocktail, prosecco, gin or rum drinkers! 60 newly refurbished bedrooms from singles to 2 bedroom suites! Monthly wedding open evening, which falls on the last Wednesday of the month between 6pm and 8pm. We were lucky enough to get married and hold our wedding celebrations here last month. It was perfect. Our room was fabulous with stunning sea views. We cannot thank the staff enough for the excellent service which they provided from the Friday evening right through to when we left Sunday morning. All the staff are a credit to the hotel, however special thanks to Sophie, Emma, David, Hayley and of course Jim, who looked after me with hot water, honey and lemon as I was not too well on the day!! Everyone who attended our wedding had nothing but praise for everything from the food, service, staff and rooms. The night before the wedding 9 of us had a meal in the restaurant, Coast Brasserie. The food and service was excellent. We will certainly be returning and have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to both friends and family. We had our wedding at the Glendower on 9th December . Civil ceremony in the beautiful Lowther room followed by dinner. Couldn’t fault the hotel from initial contact to the day itself which ran like clockwork , superbly organised with plenty of attention to detail . It was exactly what we had imagined and planned for . The hotel looked beautiful and the food was excellent . We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of venue and will recommend to others . Sophie the wedding planner... you were amazing.. from the first day we met you to the last time we seen you on the morning after. Yourself and the rest of the hotel staff we're absolutely amazing! what a fabulous day what a fabulous day
My son and my now daughter in law have just got married and had their reception at this hotel. I am writing this review to say what a fabulous day it was for everyone that attended and also stayed the weekend. The whole wedding day, ceremony, food, everything, was perfect. The staff in the hotel are all so helpful and friendly especially the staff in the breakfast room who go out of their way to help you. Great weekend had by all, it could not have been better.My son and my now daughter in law have just got married and had their reception at this hotel. I am writing this review to say what a fabulous day it was for everyone that attended and also stayed the weekend. The whole wedding day, ceremony, food, everything, was perfect. My wife and I got married here on Thursday and we had just the best day ever. From the first moment we stepped in to meet Sophie the wedding planner we were made to feel so welcome. Every staff member made us feel so wonderful on our special day. The hotel were so accommodating, professional and always had a smile on their faces. I would suggest to anyone to get married here, the food was excellent and just everything executed perfectly. We had our wedding here on Saturday, leading up to the wedding was no trouble for Sophie at all infact they were all so happy to help. Sophie made us feel at ease with everything and I had no worries leaving my wedding in her hands. When we went for our trail meal a few months ago we met one of the managers called Stephen he made that much of an impression on us we requested him to work our day which he was happy too even though it was the champions league final and he’s a Liverpool fan - bonus points for that. He made us feel like nothing was too much trouble, even gave us That personal touch, made it easier that he completely got our sense of humour too. I didn’t really meet Hayley until the day before so I was abit nervous, but honestly she got me and every thing I visioned she got it perfectly she was absolutely amazing even the little things like bringing a fan up for one of my bridesmaids. You are all our hero’s, it’s thanks to you all that I was so chilled (even though I was bridezilla leading up to it) it was even better seeing smiling faces all day!! Infact all the staff that worked our night/day was so happy and made us feel relaxed. Honestly cannot fault them at all. Even the room where we stayed and the food was amazing I know they must do 100’s of wedding a year but they made it feel like it wasn’t just a day to them, we will forever be grateful for everything they did for us. Travel Notes

By Train Trains run on an hourly basis from Preston Mainline station to St Anne’s on Sea. There is a taxi rank outside St Anne’s Station, although, if you prefer to walk, the hotel is just 10 minutes away. Proceed ahead when you exit the station car park, and pass the parade of shops. At the traffic lights, cross over, and pass the Lord Derby Public House on the right hand side. At the T junction facing the pier, turn right. The Glendower Hotel is approximately 200 yards on the right hand side. By Bus There is a bus service every 20 minutes to St Anne’s from Preston Bus Station. Arrive at St Anne’s Square and follow the directions above. And when your here, the number 11 and 14 Blackpool Transport Bus stops are a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Both services can take you to Blackpool, Lytham, Fleetwood and Cleveleys To find out more information about the bus services please click the following link http://www.blackpooltransport.com/ By Car Take the M6 motorway to junction 32 and follow the M55 signposted Blackpool. At the end of the motorway follow signs to South Shore/Lytham St Annes, proceeding past Blackpool Airport. At the traffic lights turn left, and at the second set of traffic lights turn right. At the T junction (facing the pier) turn right and the Glendower Hotel is approximately 200 yards on the right hand side.
