Saturday at Goldsborough Hall was a magical day! Out initial planning with Joel came to fruition with a welcome 'fizz' from yourselves - thank you so much. The sun shone, we mingled on the terrace; friends and family came together in party mood; we were thrilled by the whole ambiance. Your attention to detail in the sunlit orangery; crisp, white tablecloths and the 'hint' of posies, were perfect. Generosity of spirit by the staff was appreciated - the food was perfect. As you are aware my wife and I celebrated our Golden Wedding at Goldsborough Hall on Friday last and we are both delighted to report how enjoyable and successful the whole event was. All present were fulsome in their praise of the history, comfort & splendour of their surroundings and the Drawing Room setting for dinner was delightful. The menu provided was of the highest order and the staff were most professional and worthy of the establishment in which they work. The whole evening was complemented by James who expertise and attention to detail was most praiseworthy and ensured that Gill and I and all our guests enjoyed such a memorable occasion. Alison, Melanie & the team, Just a quick note to say a HUGE thank you for making our wedding day so wonderful. From the initial planning, Alison you were great, very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. On the day itself, melanie was on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly - which it did! We had many compliments from our guests about the food, how beautiful the venue was etc and we can honestly say it was the best day of our lives. Not only is this venue stunning but all the staff go above and beyond to make your day so special. Even the lead up to the wedding was flawless, the wedding coordinator Alison was so friendly and organised and thought of every tiny detail. We loved our tasting menu day as well and truly felt very spoilt. Our wedding day ran so smoothly with Marius organising it, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. Our guests loved the food and the venue, we couldn’t praise it highly enough. Our wedding exceeded our expectations and really was the most perfect day.
