Hatfeild Hall via its long sweeping tree-lined drive, you realise that you are approaching a hidden gem, so convenient, yet so remote.from following the driveway, with the 18 hole Golf Course on each side, passing the impressive fountain on your left, the view suddenly opens up to reveal the majestic 18th Century Hall placed prominently, looking down over the surrounding Golf Course. Its tranquillity is breath taking and will certainly leave an impression on your guests. The Hall has much history to it, including the fabled Mulberry Bush opposite its entrance, where folklore has it that a cutting from it was replanted in Wakefield Prison and the rhyme “Here we go round the Mulberry Bush” originated. Hatfeild Hall is located on Aberford Road, only approximately 1 mile from Wakefield City Centre.

We recently had our Wedding here and it was the best day ever. Sharon did an excellent job of helping us plan our Wedding so everything went smoothly. Everyone commented about what a great day it was and how good the food and service was. We had our wedding reception at Hatfeild Hall on 18 August 2018 and had an incredible day. Sharon was very helpful from our initial meeting and answered all our questions on the run-up to the day. On the day, Sharon and the rest of the team at Hatfeild Hall made sure that everything ran smoothly, and nothing was too much trouble, so we could sit back and enjoy the day. The hall is an excellent space to make your own. The food was delicious, especially the garlic mushrooms, beef and creme brulee, which received many compliments from our guests. We would recommend Hatfeild Hall without any doubt. Absolutely amazing!! Absolutely amazing!!
Me and my husband married here last November and it was absolutely perfect! Food, staff venue all amazing. The grounds are beautiful too so brilliant back drop for photos. Highly recommend! As a videographer I was blown away by the sheer awesomeness of this place with stunning panoramic views of the yorkshire countryside. I have been to many, many venues over the last 31 years but Hatfeild Hall is in my top 3 of excellent venues. The staff are very much accommodating and courteous and willing to help at anything. So not only brides and grooms who like the venue but cameramen too. Well done everyone and good luck!As a videographer I was blown away by the sheer awesomeness of this place with stunning panoramic views of the yorkshire countryside. Dream come true! Dream come true!
I got married at Hatfeild Hall in July 2017. The venue was stunning, the food was amazing (all the guests commented) and the staff were incredible from start to finish. The venue is incredible value too - I was convinced that the venue would be out of our price range but it wasn’t and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Honestly couldn’t recommend the venue enough! The whole day was focused around the bride and groom and there wedding day they had the whole building. The staff were helpful and kind. The food was excellent amazing , plenty of choice on the menu and such a high standard was lovely. would highly recommend.
