Description

Congratulations on your engagement! With exclusive use of the whole venue including our traditional stone barn, farmhouse for accommodation and 3 acres of grounds which encompass our sunny courtyard, gardens, vines, arbour and pond, Knightor is the perfect setting for your wedding. With so much pretty outside space you can choose to host your whole day outside but always have the back up of our stunning barn should the Cornish weather turn! Our arbour is licensed for an outdoor ceremony overlooking the pond or you can choose to have your ceremony in the vaulted threshing barn which has space for up to 90 daytime guests and 180 evening guests. After your ceremony you can choose from a number of different catering options for your reception. Go informal with a BBQ, hog roast or street food or choose one of our more formal seated menus which feature seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Any menu can be served outside in the courtyard or the 1st floor of our barn with its vaulted ceiling is a beautiful and elegant setting. When it comes to the evening, with no near neighbours there are very few limits on what you can organise so you really can dance the night away!

Our venue hire rates cover exclusive hire of Knightor for the wedding day (until 1am Friday/Saturday, 12am Monday to Thursday) plus the manor house for the night of the wedding. The manor house sleeps 12 in 4 double and 2 twin rooms.

Amazing wedding dayAmazing wedding day
Beautiful place inside and out but the staff are amazing. Jess made the whole day run so smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. The whole staff are happy to help and so friendly. Cant reccomend yhis place enough if your looking for a chilled romantic day. Thanks to everyone at knightor !! Despite the weather everything was perfect and went really smoothly we felt. I haven’t heard any complaints from the day everybody loved it. The food was perfect throughout the day and the breakfast was amazing so please pass on our thanks to the kitchen staff. We will definitely be making a point of coming by for food when we are in the area in future. Again we can’t thank you or all your helpful staff at knightor enough. We will definitely be recommending knightor to any of our friends looking to get married. I’ve attached some of our photos. We haven’t had our official wedding photos or video as yet. Knightor offered everything we dreamed of and more for our big day- the perfect combination of beautiful setting and blank slate. In the build up, we were amazed by how many options we had, from decor to food, and how accommodating Knightor were with our ideas and wishes. We chose them initially because they offered something crucial to us- an outdoor ceremony with an indoor backup if the Cornish weather let us down! The ability to use the house was also a big advantage as our families are not local. Everything else was the icing on the cake- the team were so wonderfully helpful and the grounds perfect for photos. The day itself truly was the best of my life- amazing food, wonderful wine and a happy, relaxed atmosphere. Where do I start! The staff are amazing. Very attentive and in tune to our every need. The venue is just amazing! Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, all our guests commented on the high standard of food, excellent service and tasty wines.
