We will create the perfect day for you whether you want an intimate ceremony for four or a grand evening reception for 300, our packages are tailor-made to what you want. When you book your wedding with us your personal wedding co-ordinator will help bring your dreams to life and be on hand for your every need. Our team are always happy to welcome you to the hotel to give you an insight into what we have to offer, or if you would prefer an informal chat so that we can guide you through your plans. Picture this... As you make your way down the Victorian stone stairs and down the red carpet to meet your groom you will feel the excitement building as your guests stand to see you walk down the aisle. You both say your vows under the Pergola surrounded by your family and friends with the sun shining and the waves crashing behind you. As your guests stand to offer their congratulations the champagne and canapes begins to flow, and you both head to the beach for some perfect photos with the sand beneath your feet and big smiles on your faces. Traditionally the wedding breakfast is your first meal together as husband and wife and can be served in our sea view dining room with high ceilings, grand chandeliers and large bay windows. In the evening our Ocean View Ballroom welcomes your guests to celebrate and dance the night away in style, with its own bar, dance floor and stage.

I had my wedding at The Hotel Victoria on Sunday the 29th May, we had the most amazing day & we were lucky enough to get married in the garden, under the pergola overlooking the beach! ❤️ The entire day was perfect, the staff at the hotel were organised & clearly confident in every aspect of the day! We opted for the bbq wedding breakfast, there was plenty to choose from & everything tasted great. We had a larger than average wedding party of 120 guests in total yet there was plenty to go around & again the staff were in total control & called each table in turn. I stayed for 3 nights in total, breakfast each day was great, good selection, well cooked & nice relaxed atmosphere. We cannot thank Sam and Sarah enough for all their help and support with helping us with our wedding reception. The food was lovely all our guests commented how tasty it was and we were very happy that everyone enjoyed it. Sam and Sarah's communication was brilliant and we were always updated and had all our queries and questions answered. The service we received helped make our day so much more special, thank you xWe cannot thank Sam and Sarah enough for all their help and support with helping us with our wedding reception. My daughter got married here. The day was perfect from beginning to end. The ceremony was held in the sun lounge and it looked magical, with white net drapes, white satin chairs with silver organza ribbons, and the aisle had a red carpet which was lined with church candles embedded in crystals in tall glass cylinder vases. The dining room looked out of this world and was decorated to perfection with white organza drapes, perfect white linen, twinkling white fairy lights, gleaming glassware, sparkly crystals and warm glowing candlelight. The food was delicious, well cooked, nicely presented, plenty of it and, to be quite honest, considering the wedding party was 80+, far exceeded my expectations. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and the service was excellent. Hi Will, Thank you for getting back to us. We had a very productive weekend which did result in us booking at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX in Newquay. We felt that although this was a dearer option it ticked all the boxes and offered us the more casual/informal wedding we are looking for. James and I were speaking and both feel it was a shame that we weren’t booking with you as you were head and shoulders above the other planners we met, you made us feel very welcomed and at ease with your friendly, jovial personality. My husband booked our vow renewal as a surprise for our 10th wedding anniversary. I had only 11 weeks to organise the details and Sarah Mitchell and her team were fantastic. Everything was arranged via email as we live over 200 miles away and I couldn't have asked for better service. Sarah arranged a menu to suit our tastes and took delivery of our 4 tier cheese "cake" for us. She also arranged rooms for all our family and friends despite a lot of indecision. When we arrived the day before there was so much help to set up the table decorations. They also set up the chairs with the covers and baby blue sashes for us to see. Sarah asked for instructions on where to put the decorations for us for the day. On the day itself we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was perfect. The Sun Lounge looked beautiful with the sea view obviously helping. All the tables and the room had been carefully decorated and the white carpet had been rolled out ready. Sarah even sat out of sight to play the music during the ceremony. All our guests commented on the high quality of the food and how good it was that it was all hot (which is not always the case when a lot of people need to be served). I can't believe how amazing it was I can't believe how amazing it was
I first feel in love with the legacy hotel victoria when me and fiancé went to look at it in 2014. It's a lovely and charming hotel with a stunning view of the sea. After talking we decided to book with them. We later went back to discuss what rooms we wanted the ceremony set in and wedding breakfast. We found everyone at the hotel helpful and pleasure to work with. We meet sam who coordinated the wedding and Ivan the hotel manager. Both friendly and helpful. Me and my husband got married on the 19th September. The day was perfect amazing weather for our outdoor ceremony to the fantastic food in our wedding breakfast. The rooms were decorated perfectly and exactly to what I requested. I think back to the wedding everyday and I can't believe how amazing it was, feels like a dream. From start to finish the staff at the legacy Victoria hotel where most helpful and supportive. This reduced the stress significantly of planning our wedding and having Sarah over seeing everything was a god send. From the ceremony to the evening reception everything was perfect right down to the smallest details both my husband and myself would not have changed a thing. The food was amazing and all my guests commented on how nice all of the food was especially the wedding breakfast. Feedback from friends and family said it was by far the best atmosphere and so relaxed through out the day and evening and I believe that is partly because of my personality but mostly down to the experience of the staff. As a venue we were happy with the look and style of the hotel too which gave us lots of photo opportunities both inside and outside. If I had to give the legacy Victoria hotel a rating I would give them 10/10. This really was a happily ever after!!! Everyone worked tirelessly moving tables etc around preparing the room(s) & made sure the day went like clockwork (even in that heat). From arrival in reception to our departure, the service we received was second to none & as we understand from Sam & Abbi, everyone was really helpful, courteous & efficient, right from their initial contact with you.
