Description

For exclusive use of our grounds, the hire charge is £3950 which also includes all of the bedrooms in the farm house for the night of your wedding (we can sleep up to 14) with breakfast. Access to the farm the day before your wedding is also included which allows for set up and personalisation of your structure. The rooms in the farm house are also available for you to book exclusively for the night before your wedding should this be a requirement. We can hold ceremonies here, either on the main lawn or within our secret garden. Ceremonies can be conducted by either a celebrant or a local registrar to include exchanging of rings and vowels but you would have needed to have signed the register beforehand in order to make it legal! We have a number of drinks packages available which are priced from £25pp which includes 2 reception drinks, half a bottle of wine plus a glass of prosecco for your toasts. Our bar,'The Tipsy Pony' is also fully staffed and stocked and is available for you and your guests as required and run as a pay bar. Our event management service is included within the cost of the ground hire, our team will ensure all details are taken care of on the lead up to your wedding and on the day itself. We will be on hand throughout the whole process and will be available on the day and right up to the end of the evening to ensure everyone is well looked after. We work with our own suppliers in terms of marquee or tipi hire (www.countrytipis.co.uk) and can arrange meetings to discuss your requirements in detail. We also work closely with Kingfisher caterers (www.kingfishercaterers.co.uk) and clarkandblackwellcatering.co.uk who can provide a number of options for day & evening food to include canapes, BBQ's, sharing platters , food vans, or more formal wedding breakfasts.

We are not a huge venue and only run a maximum of 20 weddings per year and strictly only 1 per week during the summer months. Best wedding venue!Best wedding venue!
We visited a few places on our search for the perfect wedding venue. Lodge farm house stood out to us from the get go. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of location, views, accommodation and cost. Maria was so helpful and instantly made us feel assured we would have the most perfect day - which we did. She was patient with us as it took us a while to get a date that we and our priest could do, but never made us feel pressured. Once we fixed a date Maria was on hand to answer questions we had at any time - even once when she was on holiday! She gave us a list of suppliers we could use as we had explained that we wanted a tipi set up and what kind of food we were interested in. Both were exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have been more perfect for our day. Liz was introduced to us about 6 months before our wedding and from there everything felt a lot easier. She is the ultimate event organiser and always gave the best advice. She became more of a friend to us in the lead up to the wedding and we loved that she was part of our special day. She kept us calm and gave us some of the best ideas for the day. She really went above and beyond what you’d expect from an event organiser. Our guests said how amazing the grounds at lodge farm were and how amazing the venue itself was. The house at lodge farm is beautiful and perfect if you have close family you would like to stay the night of the wedding. We had breakfast together the next morning and it was the most amazing way to end our wedding. We can’t thank all of the staff at lodge farm house enough for everything they did for us in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. What a weekend!!What a weekend!!
What a weekend!! Lodge farm was truly a perfect venue for our wedding. We were looking for something that allowed a festival vibe without being knee deep in a muddy field and Maria’s place was ideal for this. It was wonderful being able to make lodge farm our home for the weekend, fill the house with our family and the beautiful gardens with our friends. Big enough to fit all of our guests to party hard but ample small spaces for people to get lost in the moment and create intimate memories. The garden was so beautifully decorated and the fairy lights made such a magically glow very little additional decoration was required. Perfect safe haven for children letting loose as well as their parents!! All of our guests commented on how impressed they were with the friendly waiting staff and the Tipsy pony certainly helped keep the party going. Looking out over the chiltern hills, our photographer was in heaven capturing the stunning sunset views. Thank you for a magical day with memories that will last a lifetime.What a weekend!! The most unforgettable day of our lives! The most unforgettable day of our lives!
From the moment that we stepped foot in Lodge Farm House and met Maria, we knew that it just felt right. To describe this venue as being ‘special’ is a true understatement. The gardens are exceptional, the views over the rolling hills are so scenic and the Lodge is so picturesque. Both the decor and layout of Lodge Farm House allow feelings of cosiness and being homely. A true home from home. We knew we wanted a wedding venue that was exclusive for our guests and a day that made us feel like more than just a number- like many main stream wedding venues do! It was a beautifully sunny June day, with clear blue skies, the tipis looked remarkable and by allowing us and our families to arrive the day before, this gave us a huge feeling of excitement, not being rushed and I honestly felt at ease. Like many couples, our wedding was 18 months in the making, which meant naturally a lot of pressure was put onto making one day so perfect and we can honestly say that Lodge Farm House meant our wedding even exceeded our expectations. It was a day of dreams! One lady that we owe a huge thanks to is wedding coordinator Liz Dunn, who was such a star! She is very efficient in her role and became a great friend, always quick to reply to emails and always at the end of the phone to answer even the smallest of questions about our wedding. Liz was exceptional throughout the whole weekend that we got married and she built up a lovely relationship with all of our family and friends, her knowledge, advice and skills as a wedding planner is amazing and she just allowed both my husband and I to have a stress free day. She dealt with any questions from our guests and honestly orchestrated our day even better than we imagined! None of our guests had ever been inside a tipi before (including my husband and I), so it was a huge gamble. However, we are so glad we went with our gut feeling. If you are looking for a venue which is beautifully intimate, relaxing and to make memories of a lifetime, then look no further than Lodge Farm House. Maria, Liz and all the lovely staff made our dreams come true and now we are so content with knowing that for the rest of our lives we have absolutely no regrets with our wedding. We feel very privileged to have been one of the lucky couples to have started off married life at Lodge Farm and we have the photos and videos that just bring us right back to this wonderful day. Everything about Lodge Farm House contributed to us having a wondeful day. We fell in love with the venue from the minute we first saw it and were delighted with our choice when it was all said and done. Maria and Liz were brilliant all the way through the process and the staff on the day were all on great form. A perfect venue even in the worst weather! A perfect venue even in the worst weather!
Lodge Farm was the first venue I viewed and the only venue I viewed. We knew the minute we went there that it was perfect for us and our wedding, so I cancelled all the other scheduled viewings I had booked for other venues! Maria is just such a warm and welcoming lady, she instantly made us feel at home! I knew by talking to her, that she would do all that she could to make the wedding exactly how you ever dreamed for it to be! We met Liz on the second visit, who is in charge of the Event planning. Liz was so bubbly, warm and so easy to chat to! She helps you plan the wedding, so it runs smoothly and exactly how planned! We had 30minutes of sunshine and we had our ceremony on the main lawn. The minute our ceremony was over, the heavens opened! The weather took such a turn and I was so worried that the wedding was ruined as we had so much planned for the outdoors! Oh was I wrong..the wedding kept getting better! Liz and Maria made sure that it did! They ensured that everyone was kept entertained in the marquee and that all planned outside, was shifted inside the marquee as much as possible! The venue is so lovely to stay in! The bridal party stayed the night before the wedding, and then 14 of us stayed the night of the wedding too! Breakfast was great the morning after and so amazing seeing Maria and Liz, after its all over! We will always remember our wedding night and would like to thank all at Lodge Farm house for your dedication and hard work, to help make it the night it was! From our initial conversation with Maria on the open day and all of the emails with Liz we knew we would be in good hands. Liz was a dream to work with and we have made a good friend in her. No task was ever too big and her approachable manner meant we were put at ease straight away. On the big day everything ran so smoothly and she worked so hard to make our dreams and vision come true- including my vision of a sunset shot which I had said I would love to have the evening before and she managed to literally grab me for one so we didn’t miss it! We have a lot to thank her for. Lodge farm is a beautiful venue, Maria has done a fab job and the rooms are so lovely, it was a beautiful stay for us on the night of the wedding, including my family. Where to begin?! We got married here in September 2018 and it was the most perfect venue. We had full use of the house and grounds the night before and the night-of the wedding. We even had a full English breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday morning. In the lead up to the wedding, Maria and her team were so supportive, professional and accommodating to our ideas and ensured the day was everything we dreamed of! We cannot recommend this venue enough. If you want something beautifully low-key, yet breathtaking, Lodge Farm is your venue and Maria is your woman!Where to begin?! We got married at Lodge Farm on Saturday.. it was one the best day of our lives! The venue was incredible, the sun came out for the 25 mins during the ceremony and then the rain just made it even more romantic! Maria, you are so wonderfully welcoming and kind. I think you are a truly gorgeous person. Laura, thank you for your professionalism, our little chats and hand squeezes throughout the day, I think you are fabulous! Your team did us proud. We can't wait to come back sept 2018 to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! We are forever grateful and you all will hold a special place in our hearts!! Our Amazing WeddingOur Amazing Wedding
We fell in love with Lodge Farm the moment we arrived to look round. Maria showed us around her beautiful country home, and we felt comfortable and knew this would be the venue we wanted. We wanted a real homely feel for our wedding, right from the second we met Maria and saw the venue we felt completely at home. Maria & Laura (the event manager) are amazing, they help and answer any questions I had, and I felt like I was just talking to friends when asking them questions. I have a young baby and work full time so organising a wedding was hard but they took all of the stress and helped with everything, even down to setting the venue up the day before the big day. Marias garden was used for garden games for the children whilst photographs were being taken, which everyone said was lovely. The grounds for photos are breath-taking. The next morning Maria serving us breakfast, we felt like we was at home just sitting round a dining room table chatting, whilst Maria was cooking serving breakfast and bringing lots of coffee! We had the most amazing wedding and our guests all said it was the best wedding they’d ever been too! There’s so many lovely little touches, like “the tipsy pony” a cute little bar which Maria has.
