Description

The 16th century, traditionally timbered Aisled Barn is decorated with unique Moore tapestries, and is set amongst beautiful sculpture gardens, which provide the perfect backdrop for your special day. For more intimate celebrations, the venue also offers contemporary spaces with panoramic views in the architect-designed visitor centre, Dane Tree House. Venue hire includes exclusive use of the Aisled Barn or Dane Tree House spaces and shared use of the sculpture gardens and grounds with day visitors. Both spaces are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can be transformed into magical and atmospheric settings for wedding breakfasts. To really make the most of the grounds, dramatic marquees or tipis can make a stunning night-time statement and provide extra space for your guests to enjoy the surroundings.

The best day of our livesThe best day of our lives
Weddings might inherently be a great day but what made it the most special day of our lives was down to the unique, beautiful Henry Moore venue as well as all the support Jules, Sarah and the team gave to us. Having a mixture of cultures in our wedding, we had a few things outside the norm but as mentioned, the support was unwavering and they catered to us amazingly. I couldn't recommend this venue and Jules/Sarah, highly enough. They also gave recommendations for photographers and so forth, which proved to be fantastic and are things we will cherish forever. I wanted to leave a small review, despite not actually having our wedding yet at our beautiful venue. Jules and her team have been absolutely fantastic throughout the disruptions that Covid19 has caused myself and various other couples! She has gone the extra mile and is always contactable when needed; completely understanding our situation. We cannot wait to be able to get married here!! Hi Jules Hope you are well and everything is going ok with the next big event! We are just back from our honeymoon and have now had some time to reflect on our wedding day. We just wanted to say thank you so much, not just for an amazing event that went so smoothly, but for all of your help in the build up to the day. Your assured and calm approach really helped us feel comfortable right from the first meeting with you, and your planning and coordination with suppliers took a huge weight off our shoulders. We also know both you and Sarah went above and beyond on the Friday to make sure we got everything done, and we really, really appreciate the effort that into went into making the Saturday the perfect day. All our guests had a wonderful time, and kept telling us how impressed they were with the venue. We'll have some official photos to share with you soon. Hope to see you again, as I'm sure we'll be back at the Henry Moore Foundation over the many years to come. Hi Jules, It’s all been a huge whirlwind but Paul and I can’t thank you and Sarah enough for your efforts. We can honestly say that we truly had the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without you! You and your team worked so incredibly hard and my whole family absolutely loved you guys! I know mum can get a bit over excited so thank you for keeping her in check! I literally can’t sing your praises enough! Your attention to detail was incredible and even just having you there counting everyone in whilst walking down the aisle was so special!!! I don’t think I could have done it without you! I hope you are not too exhausted after the wedding! We are away for a bit but I promise Paul and I will be in touch with proper gifts and thank yous for you and the team once things calm down a bit! We will have so many wonderful memories from our incredible wedding day and the stunning Henry Moore Foundation will play a huge part in that. We knew from the minute we visited that it was THE venue for us. It perfectly suited every tiny aspect of what we were trying to achieve and yesterday was like a dream come true for us. The weather of course helped hugely, the whole venue looked magical and we can’t wait to see the photos and video! From the moment we first began chatting through our plans with you, way back in April (!) you have been so fantastic to work with; so supportive, so incredibly organised and calming. Best Wedding Ever Attended Best Wedding Ever Attended
Hello Jules, Simon and myself have just returned from a relaxing 3 days in Venice and will soon be taking the girls to Holland. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and the team at the Henry Moore Foundation for making our day so special. From start to finish we had a relaxing day and have had so many thank you messages from friends and family. One person said it was the best wedding they had ever attended, many said it was a wonderful day and everyone said it was the most perfect venue for a celebration! It was the place that lead people to those comments and I think many guests will be returning to visit the foundation in the near future. Your organisation on the day helped everything go to plan we were so pleased with how it went. If only we could do it all again! Remember to stop and take a moment to savour the day - it'll go by very quickly! Walk down that Aisle slowly and bask in that moment with all your friends and family love in the room.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One of grooms being a graphic designer drew every guests face onto the table plan. They were so good, even if we didn't know the guest's name we could work it out, the likeness was so brilliant. It became quite a game to match the guest with the picture!!!!

There are so many amazing spots for photographs on our grounds, but some of the most stunning are next to Henry Moore's iconic monumental sculptures, such as those taken at sunset in front of the Reclining Figure.
