At the heart of our working farm lies our magnificent oak-framed Sussex barn. Built in 1720, the Old Barn has been lovingly restored to offer you a unique wedding or function venue that is exclusively yours for the day. We work hard to make sure that your party will exceed your expectations. Pangdean is a place your guests will be warmly welcomed, charmed by the rural and historic setting and fed delicious food. They will remember your special day for years to come. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the Old Barn, the little Stable and even outdoors using our garden gazebo, Mulberry Lodge, specially built for the purpose.

We are passionate about our food and for that reason we don't offer boring set menus. We will work with you to create a menu that you love. We have a huge variety of suggestions that we know work well, but we also love working with your suggestions. You might want to include food that reflects you as a couple, an old family recipe, or something from your travels together. Our food prices vary depending on the number of guests and to some degree what you eat. But we will work with you to find the perfect menu that suits your palette and your budget. Our food prices also include: • All necessary service until the end of coffee time (our Events Manager, Chefs and Waiting Staff); • The provision of all necessary white bone china, cutlery, glasses, tablecloths and starched napkins; • The chilling and service of all alcoholic drink supplied by you up until the end of coffee time (we do not charge a corkage fee) • Vegetarian and special dietary meals are included. • Children’s meals are at a reduced price - We charge half price for children aged 7-12, one third price for children aged 2-6, and we don’t of course charge for those under 2 years.

Pangdean really is the most magical place to get married. My wife and I didn't even look at any other venue, we fell in love instantly. Every step of the way Pangdean we're there to support and guide us through every worry and stress, they made our planning effortless. On our special day, everything was immensely professional, every guest fell in love just like we did. The food was exquisite, the decor was intricate and personal and their attentiveness was priceless. I think it is safe to say this place is one of a kind. We never wanted to leave!Pangdean really is the most magical place to get married. My wife and I didn't even look at any other venue, we fell in love instantly. My wife and I got married here in September of this year. Pangdean Barn was the absolute best venue we could have hoped for. The staff were so attentive the whole time, the food was out of this world, and the setting is simply beautiful. I can't recommend this venue enough to anyone that is looking to tie the knot soon! We had lots of rain but that didn't make the slightly bit of difference as the main barn is so welcoming and cosy and the staff were on hand at all times.. if I could give 10 stars I would!My wife and I got married here in September of this year. That's impossible to answer! We've had so many incredible events at Pangdean. For us, the best ones are always the ones where you can feel the love. The size and even all the extra details are not as important as the happiness that glows from our couples. It's what makes our work so joyful!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Remember that it is meant to be fun. Relax and let us help you. We have a brilliant team of staff who will make sure your day is spectacular.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

It's always very touching when people find a way to include loved ones who can't be there - perhaps by including photos of them, or mentioning them in speeches. And there are also lots of fun touches that couples add - from having a signature cocktail, to using photos of each guest as a place name.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

We have so many wonderful photo spots - from the magical barn with its hundreds of twinkling fairy lights, to our landscaped gardens with our 400 year old Mulberry Tree arbour, to the farm tracks at sunset with views of the downs.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Many. But we don't kiss and tell!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Oooh there are many, but probably the maple cured Pangdean smoked salmon taco served with red pearl and cucumber salsa, and chipotle creme fraiche

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

We offer delicious late night snacks all made by our talented chefs. Choose from fish and chips in cones, curries, hogroasts, homemade pizzas...the list goes on.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our spectacular barn roof - it soars overhead and is filled with hundreds of twinkling fairy lights.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

That it is family owned and run. We offer an incredible attention to detail and every wedding is attended to with love by our team.
